If GKN not starting then Winks beside Wanyama, spread the AM3, Lamela behind the CF... Dembele for me will be good coming on for Winks to protect our lead, if we have..

But I think we need speed in GKN to stretch the scums defence right from the start and Lamela to create.. Alli and Son can score the goals from midfield wide, pouncing on loose balls from Kane, or one-twos from Janssen, or their individual brilliance.

Our 'back 7' is better than theirs, in some positions ( Left back & Centre mid ) it's considerably better too.

The attacking options right now though are like chalk & cheese. It seems Sanchez and Ozil almost play a different sport to Eriksen and co right now! On a completely different level.

Lets give Lamela a go in the centre behind Janssen. Son & N'Koudou wide perhaps? Mind you, GKN's pace really isn't all that impressive from what I've seen since the CSKA game. To be honest I'm not sure what to do behind the front man right now. Nothing seems to be working

It wasn't so long ago a very inexperienced Mason was thrown in and ran the show against them - so it might not be as crazy and unlikely as you think

Winks wouldnt do any better because simply put, the movement is dire. it is not like Erikssen is misplacing passes and fucking up, its just that he hasnt been effective and that js a consequence of our movement.

Id play Kane and Toby.

I have a feeling we will go the same tactics as against city

It's going to be a conservative team. If Harry is fit then he starts, but I'd expect the same team we saw today except the known names swapped if they are healthy. I also see Lamela playing in place of Eriksen or Alli. This is a game that 1pt would be brilliant to take. Arsenal are in form and banging goals in.

For this match I am fine playing a more conservative team. Again, Arsenal are playing quite well and the extra meat could help. I would prefer to beat them at our pressing, quick moving play that we see flashes of, but I don't see that happening cause we are really lacking cohesion going forward.

What I want to see because I don't like two ball swallowing CMs playing together is this:

I like the idea of this but it just isn't working. Dembele is dropping too deep to pick up the ball and is slowing our build up play down. If he was instructed to stay up top and have Dele or Lamela drop back we would be in better shape with this selection. For me the combo of Dembele and Wanyama is just too slow.
