In the case of a raw talent like Tarrabt coaching is not the answer .

Needs to be wrapped in carpet and given a good kicking by his team mates .

A couple of days later having had time to reflect he would be ready for the first team . Do it today and he could be ready for Derby .

We expect far too much from the young players that are brought to the club. It has happened so many times over the past few years.
If he is a premier league player he will eventually get his chance.
But on the bright side, at least we didn't pay a fortune for him, unlike Woolcott, and I know who I'd rather have as a squad member.

Simply not good enough right now. I'm not convinced he ever will be either personally, but that's just my opinion. Can anyone really, honestly say he should be featuring regularly? Ramos has got us so well drilled lately, why would he throw in a player like Taarabt who really doesn't have much of a team game yet?

Reminds me of a teenage Joe Cole.

Hopefully will come good with age in the same way.

He needs to improve his decision making, much like Ronaldo did when he first came to the Premiership. He would either dribble too far or pass too early. Now he has it spot on and hopefully Taarabt can do the same.

It's quite a common problem with footballers, at lower levels as well. You start the game confident and go round a few people, then you get over confident and lose it a couple of times, then your team mates get on your back so you get nervous, this makes you pass too early because you dont want to lose the ball again. I play football a couple of times a week and you see it so often its unreal, and I'm the first to admit I'm guilty of it sometimes.

Berba said that the lad has the most potential at the club, That's good enough for me. To say he isn't good enough now is probably fair enough, but to say he's rubbish and we should get rid is plain lunacy. The boy's got skills and hopefully will realise his considerable talent with Spurs.

does the difficult art of taking people on very very well.
decision making needs experience, maturity and time. i'd imagine the reserve team coach would be crucial to his developmen
