I don't really get what arsenal are playing at. Dragging this out is only going to be worst (in terms of a transfer fee) for them. If they don't sell him now for 20m then it will be 10m in January! Then F all next year.

Cheeky bid??? :p

James Ducker (The Times) says Man City had a £20m bid for Agger rejected, Liverpool want £27m.

Put up or shut up Real Madrid.

Allen done for Liverpool.

Loan signing next, not sure who. We've put in offers for Affelay and Sahin but not overly confident.

We still have Lewis Holtby, Walcott and Dempsey on our shortlist but how much moeny we have without selling is unclear.

If the owners and MD suceed in basically forcing Agger out in the same style Newcastle did with Carroll for the payday. We would defo sign more and a centre back would obviously be added to the shopping list.

The Allen deal isn't as expensive as being reported. It has only cost us £10m in a cash fee to be paid in installments and then there s £5m worth of add ons based on Allen's performance and Liverpools as well. Looking at these unless Allen really is top draw, very little of this £5m will be paid for a very long time.

The deal because of the way it has been structured is not as bad as I first thought but Jenkins is very keen for Swansea fans to not know about the complexities of the fee paid etc. With a midfield 3 of Gerrard, Allen, and Lucas we will be a lot stronger than last seasons Henderson, Adam, Lucas or Spearing.

The player is interested to come because of family in the area on his Dads side. However, Schalke are resisting and asking too much money due to Raul leaving, so I think he'll stay for this season at least. Arsenal are also interested in him.

He is a big Everton fan and a Arsenal fan as well and it would a step down considering he is playing in the CL

Diarra was jank last year in France and definitely on a downward curve. Certainly an improvement on what they have though.

Allen will get lost at Liverpool I reckon.

if the modric deal is not ''being accelerated'' i would suggest a proposal for mancity: release ade so he can hold us and 3000 other clubs to ransom.. and also, loan swap modric for tevez for 1 season. i know , i know, he crazee.

He'll cost a lot more than that and the Napoli have said that he won't be sold this summer.

Their negotiating a new deal and the chairman says he'll let Cavani rot if his demands our outrageous.

Great way to start discussions with your star player. Make him feel wanted.
