England U19s beat Portugal 2-0, Scarlett with both goals.
I think that’s 8 goals in England’s last 7 games for Scarlett. Pretty impressive numbers playing a year up and I’m not even certain he took part in all of them. I think his first match for the U19’s this season was in a 3-2 loss to Belgium in which he scored both goals

I'm trying to think of the youngest player I've ever seen play for our U18s. I remember Laste Dombaxe playing as an U15. I think Dean Parrett might have made the odd appearance as an U15. Terry Dixon probably would have done but he was injured for much of his U15s and U16s. I can't think of anyone younger than Laste.

What about Onomah. Didn't he have his under 23 debut while still 15, even

Onomah came on against Barcelona in NextGen when he was 15 whixh was an u19 tournament He most likely played for u21s that season bit I think he had turned 16 by the time that happened. That's off the top of my head.

I'm also fairly sure Veljkovic featured in a preseason game as a 15yo.
Wow 5G and 2A for Jaden Williams. Certainly not a bad day at the office for him. This takes him up to 10G and 3A in 15 U18PL appearances at age 17.

He looks to be a real prospect. This is a kid who, correct me if wrong, doesn’t have an England youth cap to his name? Goes to show you some do slip through the cracks in the England setup as he's been phenomenal this season.

Glad to see Williams doing well. He was one I liked a few years back. He seems to get overtaken by Mathurin but starting to make an impact again.

Lovely vid of Cesay bagging twice. I've said so many times in the past we train these players to such a high standard that even a not-so-special player in that he was never considered prodigious can play out of position in international football and still play well. Its a very good sign of the quality of our coaching.

And to the conversation a while ago about setting up our teams to lose academy games. We used to do it in the past, to create different situations and find our how players adapt so I wouldn't be surprised if we still do

Spurs not happy with Charlton as they’ve broken promises regarding playing time for Nile John.

Johnnie Jackson as spurs youth player the manager too, the traitor!

I feel like I've heard about Donley being sent off before, does he have a bit of an attitude or am I misremembering?
He’s got a bit of bite about him in a way I personally love. There is no going through the motions in the way he plays and he always gives his all because he cares.

Did I not read that while he did play for us he is a gooner at heart?
I recorded a Last Word On Spurs podcast with him about 2 years ago and he’s a massive gooner. In fact when they won (drawed) the league in the 2-2 at the Lane his Dad was in the away end.

Beautiful link up with Devine and Scarlett to win the penalty for England all their own work. Hate to say but Norton-Cuffy looks a bit of a player as well.

As interesting as it is I think people get too wound up about who supported who when they were kids.
Lost count of the number of times I have been shown that picture of Harry in a Woolwich shirt when he was eleven. Bit hard to avoid it when he played in their youth team but reminding them of how many goals he has scored against them since seems to put them back in their box plus reminding them that 3 of their recent legends, Denis Bergkamp, David Rocastle and Michael Thomas were all Spurs fans as kids. I think recently Kieran Gibbs is another one and his family apparently have season tickets at Spurs.
We have a few batting the other way of course but they have generally been decent servants - Justin Edinburgh springs to mind as being one.

Solberg with senior group. What a strange case he has been. Absolute monster of a kid so can’t say he wasn’t physically ready. I remember speaking to someone from Norway when he joined who’d coached him and they were convinced he was going straight to the top.

Oh he’s still only 18. Feels like he’s been around for ages thought he was like 20 ?

Can’t say I’ve heard of him from previous reports?

Oxford have included Ben Watt on their not to be retained list. He was with us up to U16 level. I'm a tiny bit surprised as I thought he was one with decent potential. He'd been called up England while with us. At the time I thought Oxford had done well to get him.
