Excuse me?!?!? 7-0?!?!?. That’s incredible! Just a bit obnoxious though at that level. Sheesh.

Once again gutted about this. I've been waiting for this age group to come through for ages and then can't even go to see em smh.

Scarlett scored a few more goals for England u17s during the international break but forgot to post. Also John scored for England u18s.

Hopefully they continue this form

I have not seen Scarlett yet, but been hearing about him for a long while. How high do you view him though very early years?

What's happened to Max Robson, though he was a good performer last year and I see he's only featured once so far.

I’m sure the write up of the 7-0 in the OS said he’s just come back from injury

Just a classic no.9. Can run the channels, works hard, holds the ball up, link up with those around him, find space in and around the box, has good instincts from clips I've seen like when a ball falls in the box and I also think he's quite brave, again from clips I've seen. Most important of all he can finish with his head and feet.

He's not your dribbling, skilful striker and he's never struck me as a creative type, just a proper no.9.

Interestingly Shoretire scored here. For those who remember my posts I've said before Shoretire is a striker in the same age group as Scarlett. He's United's next big thing from their academy. As far as I know he's more of a Rashford type than like Scarlett. However, Shoretire hasn't been part of the recent England squads, I'm not sure why, but I think there are some politics behind it.

But a Scarlett/Shoretire partnership could be one to lookout for in the future for England.
