Shoring up LWB with Davies was a good move (aka dropping Persisic to the bench). Is that the first time Davies has been there this season?
Giving Richarlison a start was a good move (aka dropping Sonny to the bench).
Keeping faith with Skipp was a good move - although Sarr might've had a tweak that forced that anyway.
Seeing Royal playing inside Kulusevski when we're attacking is good stuff and hard for opponents to track.
We have seen some decent tactical decisions in these two games that Conte has been out sick for. I'm hoping it's coincidence that he's been out rather than his staff seeing and implementing things that he refuses to do.
We need lots more of this rather than watching poor performances and not addressing issues. The Leicester result was very deflating because it was so shambolic at just the time when the season comes to a crunch. There's a lot to play for this season if we can just win some games in a row. United are showing that and are getting towards a title challenge if they keep it going.
