Dier and Sanchez did really well again tonight. Antonio is the type of striker that Sanchez struggles against so it was odd he kept going on Dier’s side who marshalled him well. Dull first half but played well once we scored.

I thought the way we handled the last 15 minutes was fantastic. That's why we got Mourinho in! I've seen so many Spurs games, even under Poch, where we would concede at the 84th minute and just about hold on for the win or concede.

Ben Davies has had a good game

Kept Bowen under control for most of the game, who looks like a good talent.

Can’t understand the stick Ben gets on here, he’s a reliable, consistent defender. No he isn’t as good going forward as someone like Rose but he’s still a very good player.

We won against a shite team who tried to park the bus.

We are still far too easy to get at, they had a quite a few situations that on another day will prove costly.
If we played like this against every shit team who tries to park the bus, we'd be laughing. That has been our main problem this season. We are rarely comfortable against anybody, even when 3-0 up.

Pretty easy win that. At full flow mid season that would have been a comfortable 4/5 nil. Though West Ham May have given us more of a game.
Look far more solid since the break. Given Jose time to work on the organisation of our defensive shape and of course allowing half our squad to come back from injury.

The times he has played, he has been the best player on the pitch. I think he's shown enough to be considered class. Maybe he has a bad attitude, I don't know. But he's widely considered one of the best prospects in world football. We're in danger of losing him. How is he going to win Jose over if he's not aloud to show it where it matters... on the pitch.
The biggest question seems to be around his workrate, not his talent. He may have that killer pass in him, but will he put in a shift defensively like Gio, Sissoko or Winks would? When we're scrapping for a win, we can't carry any passengers. Put simply, he's still an unknown quantity and Mou trusts others before him. Hopefully it'll be different next season and we get to see him more.

They were a beaten side at the end not only the scoreline but in attitude we took all the fight and zest out of them its not that often you can say" quite easy " against the hammers .

I think Jose is challenging him.

He's shown improvement, give him praise. Keep him waiting to see if he keeps working hard or throws a strop.

Plenty of players show brief improvement, get praise and then revert back to slouching.

He'll be a better player for it if he gets the message.

‪Dier & Sanchez should be our main CB partnership for the rest of the season. Impressive game from the duo once again ‬

Much better showing second half and as has already been mentioned, the substitution of Alli for Lamela was pivotal and created a lot more space for others to operate in as opposed to Alli loitering like a statue and not offering any runs.

Bergwijn for Lucas was also welcomed and then we really could have truly buried West Ham who were pretty woeful.

Not pretty for a good spell but the positives at the end outweigh that. Still very much a work in progress but some building blocks for the future out there - no more so than Lo Celso who is pivotal to our success going forward.
