So… being picky… (there are lots of positives)

It would be so advantageous if one of our wingers could dribble past their man on the outside. We also don’t seem to have a target in the middle when the ball goes out wide.

Could do with more quality, some better decisions. Not getting caught on the ball when we've so many committed forwards would help.

But we're winning and largely dominant because of our shape and our work rate. None of them seem short of confidence and they're all running hard. Johnson, for example... finishing has been weak but he's getting into the positions, he's running his balls off, and he's not giving up. Keep at it like that and it will come for him.

All we wanted this year was positivity and effort, and we have it in spades. Just need to keep our heads.

When we get a wide attacker than can dribble past opponents...

If this is good, which it is, then imagine when we have Sarr, Maddison, Bentancur and Van de Ven back? I'm not getting carried away but ... yes I am.

How do you get on telly to do punditry in this day and age, and repeatedly get a player's name wrong? Kuluchevski?

If I'm honest I'm a bit disappointed we've only got the one goal. We do need to tighten up the final pass when getting in on goal but I guess that's one of the things Postecoglu talks about that will come.
All that said, we have played them off the park, more of the same second half and we are sure to get at least another goal.

Part responsible tbf.
it's actually hilarious how part of the fanbase has implicitly blamed Tottenham's "downfall" on Romero as if the numerous injuries that occurred are his to blame.

yea, he was reckless, he put us a CB short for a big stretch of the season but surely we could have survived it in better conditions had Van de Ven and Maddison stayed healthy.

It's reminiscent of the latter days of Wenger's Arsenal in that they'd play great football up to the penalty box but lacking that ruthlessness and punch to take the game away from the opposition.

I like Johnson but not as a bona-fide starter and we really could do with a player with more technical ability coupled with directness much like a Mane or Doku - especially with Deki wide right who will naturally always cut inside.

A viable alternative to Son is also high up on the agenda.

Poor final ball. But apart from that. Fu king smashing them. More of the same (apart from the final ball) please.

Cuti raised his hands 🫶🙏 towards the crowd after the goal.

Nice gesture knowing he derailed our fantastic start to the season.
Know what you mean started that horrible butterfly effect in the Chelsea game when we were flying in the first 15 / 20 mins. I’m sure Cuti will keep making up for it in the long term though.

Poor final ball today which has been a slight issue all season. We get into so many good positions. but either take a bad touch or make a poor final pass.
Brennan's not been poor today but he's ignored Son to go for glory from relatively poor positions a bit too much today.

Just got to keep playing and moving them around.
More big chances will come as their energy levels drop.

I'd give Johnson 10 minutes and if he's didn't improve sub him for Gil.

Good performance but a bit wasteful.

How do we continue getting the shite referees though?

Spammers are playing so high up too. Need to play long occasionally for Son to run into.

Feel like Hojberg and Bissouma have been a bit off it but other than that, everybody has looked sharp.
Think PEH has been solid tbh. Haven't seen too much 'safe play' from him.
