Stating the obvious but our back-up players (Dier, PEH, Skipp) just aren’t good enough and are easy to put under pressure.
I think they are ok as long as we only need to bring in one or two at a time. The trouble is we've had to play all of them at the same time.

It almost seems to me that we have a window of “Ange's style of football” in any given 90 minutes, it usually lasts roughly 30/40 minutes then we go to complete shit , I guess the next step is sustaining it over a full game.

3 points but that’s almost too painful to watch. Not sure we deserved that . The 94th minute sums up our naive suicidal approach to defending; 2-1 with minutes to go we’re on a breakaway , Lo Celso to Son then Son doesn’t quite pick out Kulusevski. Everton break and they are 3 against 2 !!!!!! That is amateurish to say the least. As I said at HT it’s all well and good being exciting and good attacking but you’ve got to make sure you’ve got a lock on the back door. We were caught out far too many times at the back today but got away with it. We won’t be so lucky in future games.
We really need a lot of work on our defensive structure especially when we are in possession because when we lose the ball we are left far too exposed.

Not one outfield player played to their level today.

Really sloppy, poor performance.

Too many key players in key areas out, and the players that have come in can occasionally look good/OK but when so many passes and touches are poor it just made for a pretty woeful watch.

Disgraceful performance, abject level of concentration. Mourinho and Conte were right in this aspect, fucking cowards cant even control the ball nor make a simple pass whenever they are leading the game.

Utterly disgusted to see Spursy is well and still truly alive.

#conteout.

Sack em all.

That was pretty grim from 30 minutes onwards. How we held on was a miracle. A wondersave and gosline technology to the rescue. Bloody hell

Just goes to show important it is to have players comfortable playing the ball.

can’t carry so many poor technical players

Goes some way to compensate for battering West Ham and Villa and coming away with nothing. I'll take it thanks very much.

Couldnt have moaned if we drew or lost that game, but thats where the team is at, at the minute. We will play well some matches and not so well in others.

Realistically how many of those that finished that game will be here in a year or two?

Thought the effort was there, just not so much ability today. We'll take it though, onwards and upwards.

Gomez for Everton was one of the best substitution performance i've seen all season, wheres our version of him ?
Also give Ben Davis a new contract , been one our best players since he's come in, outstanding in every game.

January Window is going to be vital to keep our heads above water - this already decimated squad is going to lose three of its best players, and we're picking up even more injuries as our players are flat out every game with almost no options on the bench.

We need a CB, CM and forward player, and absolutely cannot let Gio go. At this rate I'd bring N'Dombele back!
