I don't think the players will be nervous at all, which is helping me with my own anxiety.

Win, lose or draw tonight, it won't be because of any lack of confidence in their part.

Feeling fairly relaxed tbh. What will be will be. Expecting a tough game either way.
Agreed, and they shouldn't be.

Just play our game and let Chelsea worry about us.

I feel unnerved at the fact I don't really feel that nervous about this. Will probably change at 7:59pm. But, as of right now, I feel nothing except confidence about getting the win.

It's always a matter of seeing the team before I feel any sort of confidence in a game

Most nervous I've been about a Spurs match all season.

Its Poch back and its Chelsea and they're out of form so that usually means they'll beat us but under Ange we are a different beast so lets hope we get the job done as on paper and form we are a much better side.

1st goal is vital imo.

Im actually quite confident we will win but there is no way we stuff them at all. It will be very tight.

Don't drag your past into the present.
That's what stops players, sides, fans and clubs progressing.

It's a clean slate this season. A complete overhaul.
New personnel, new ideas, new players, a new way of playing, a new energy and a new manager.
Why would anyone (although it's a very human thing to do) drag your past apprehensions and concerns into the this present setup?

It's all new. Treat it as such.

As fans, don't let past doubts creep in to the atmosphere around the ground. Otherwise, it seeps into everyone else.
Have faith, be wildly optimistic, be wildly positive. Trust in the process.
And rather than 'hope' we might get a win - 'know' that we will get a win.
And watch that faith and energy transfer into the players on the pitch.

If the fans start getting twitchy - then it transfers to the players.
If we're going to start being a Premier League title contender - the fans have to step up their own game too and start thinking like Premier League title contender fans.
We will win. 100%. We trust these players and their manager.
I love your post. This is the only way forward, whether we get on board with this mindset now or some time in the future. Players feed off the supporters and we'll only become a serious contender on the pitch when we become a serious contender off it, that is, in our mindset.

I want this song playing at the end of the game. Step on their necks. Make them hurt.

The campaign to "boo" Pochettino led by the usual online suspects has become so cringe it beggars belief. Yeah fine it was funny as a bit of Panto but the obsessiveness of the likes of BillieT and what not is embarrassing. He wasn't ur Dad, lads. He hasn't betrayed you. He was just a football manager who had a great spell while at Spurs.

Move. The. Fuck. On.

Also the club sacked him. He didn't join Chelsea until this summer. It has been FOUR years. I really don't understand the obsessive nature of this hatred towards Poch.
