I don't know what all the fuss is about, we needed to score two goals to win and we scored two goals, if we'd needed to get another one we'd have got another one.
They'd have probably missed their penalty anyway.

Glad for the three point but that was one awful performance. We are sitting back letting Brighton play. Everytime we get a hold of the ball we look clumsy and cant seem to make 3 passes.
Dier was horrible.
PEH and Skipp useless in midfield.

Just cant understand what Levy was thinking letting Stellini be in charge for rest of the season. He hasnt changed a thing. And Contes dinosaur tactics and style of play is why we are in the bad state we are.
Is it really Stellinis game plan to be this defensive and just rely on counter attacks? Even though everyone can see we cant defend?
Hope he is banned for the rest of the season.

Although another bad mistake yesterday when he let a shot go under him. Lucky it was chalked off for handball but could’ve (and probably would’ve) swung the game in their favour.
Yup. He's always had a clanger in him but in more recent times the mistakes, whilst not constant, are increasing in regularity. Certainly time to start looking for a replacement.

Despite how awful we’ve been this season we are still in with a shout of top 4. I think almost every win we’ve had (except Man City) was a game where we said we were lucky to win and played terribly. We thought it wasn’t sustainable but here we are. Surely we’ll be champs next season.

Lloris has made mistakes this season, but that's an interesting one to criticism him for. Wellbeck's shot was rising until it deflected downwards off Mac Allister's arms, so I'm unsure how Lloris was supposed to adjust for that mid-dive. Had he dropped down in anticipation of a low shot, it would have been over him without the deflection.

He deserves credit for saving Caicedo's 20-yard effort (full-stretch dive to tip it onto the post).

kulu says...“I think the most important thing is energy. Get the crowd with us, playing our style, press high, play with the ball, create chances, running in behind. We’ve changed some things in the line-up and I’m looking forward to playing in this way," the Sweden international said.
I just read this?
What game is he playing?? Press high, play with the ball, playing our style....

Huh??

Question: Did we change formation after Stellini got sent off and Mason took over? Did Mason stamp some authority and mix things up more so than Conte or Stellini ever have done?

If you genuinely think Poch was successful at PSG then we clearly have different views on the definition of the word.

"Within days of starting at PSG, Pochettino won the first honour of his managerial career with the Trophée des Champions. In the Champions league that season, Pochettino guided PSG to a 4–1 win over Barcelona at the Camp Nou in the round of 16 tie. In the Champions League quarter-finals, PSG won against the title holders Bayern Munich. However, PSG lost in the semi-finals against Manchester City. Pochettino finished the season with a win in the Coupe de France Final against Monaco, but did not catch Lille in Ligue 1, finishing in second place."

"Pochettino led PSG to the Ligue 1 title in his first full season, finishing 15 points clear of second-placed Marseille – the biggest margin of victory in any of Europe’s top five leagues that year."

So maybe your definition isnt, let's say, as forgiving as mine. He had some successes at PSG and it's a weird club to manage. They went out of the CL to Madrid the year he won Ligue 1. I hope they never win it, but margins are fine in the knock outs and Pep is hardly not successful at man city despit not winning a CL either.

And there are plenty of Spurs fans arguing in these pages that Poch wasn't a success at Spurs! So your comment isn't isolated in SC.

But when it comes to managing expectations for a new manager, I'd suggest it is the 'anti-Poch' fans that have much more work to do on that score than the pro-Poch ones.

Not from what I saw...no discernible difference and in some ways I thought we looked even worse. In reality though, I dont think you can ascribe any blame to Stellini or Mason. tbf....its going to take a hell of a lot more to change how some of these players play.

Get son and Kane in positions where they can get their shots off , play a 352 with kulu behind them . Just try something different than the odd counter attack / goal and then camp in our box rubbish that we’ve been served up . Btw is there any news on Bissouma returning , it’s been about 8 weeks now ?
