So if we don't fancy playing a game we just claim that everyone is injured and that's fine? As everyone has said this seems entirely of their own mismanagement. Yet we're eliminated from a European competition because of a legitimate Covid outbreak. Different organising body, but seems very unfair. They now have to apply these rules consistently...

With all that’s going on with Covid, the bleak economic situation of many, the disgruntlement of so many Spurs fans we add to the mix the ridiculous decisions of the PL. No wonder gates are way down at our new shiny, empty, stadium (see article in today’s’ ‘I’) hitting the club financially. I bet when we have to cram games in, get injuries and suspensions that the PL will turn a blind eye.

In a league overwhelmingly dominated by a side owned by a nation you think the PL would lap up derby games as a promotional tool. But I guess they have their own agendas and fans have long been expendable. The sponsors should drop contracts, withhold payments and then we would see what happens.

I'm trying to let go of the frustration and analyse the positives. We should have Son, Romero, Dier, Reguilon back. Hopefully we have done business in the transfer window and it allows the likes of Kane a bit of a rest to avoid the usual injuries I would hope. Extra training for Leicester too.

the optimism about our players being back, is outweighed by the fact that they will also be at full strength with any new recruits. I would rather play their reserves with most of our best players available than full strength v full strength

I like the idea that if we get enough players suspended we can just postpone games indefinitely - we'll never have enough players to play, thus they can never serve their ban, thus we will never play again?

You'd be surprised how many gooners are our there on social media defending the club.

Be relieved you got the game called off, but don't act like it's right.
