I went in to the bookies in Sunderland ("Glory Glory" caught my eye) on valentines day fancying a tenner on spurs to win 2-1 and berby to score first, then thought nah they'll never get one back. Turned the telly on for 5 mins in the hotel room that night saw Berby score and thought "ok, but we'll put at least 3 past this lot" the missus told me to turn the tv off then i got a text through with the result. Woulda been 250 quid payout.

Still can't blame them gambling is foolish anyway.

Spurs are far too inconsistant to have as a banker and risky for an accumulator. Was asking for trouble!

I had a 7 fold accumulator bet this eve. Spurs were my banker, my absolute. The rest came in including a last minute goal for Villareal to win.

Obviously they let me down, however usually they do me proud. Anyone else felt this frustration??

The moral of this story is never bet on Spurs to win.

I've lost so much money in the past I dont even bother betting on games.

I am however winning a tenner after a guy at work said Newcastle would finish above Spurs after Keegan took charge.
