I know people mock this type of thing but I actually think this is very important. Yes we would rather win the league etc etc blah blah but this is something that every business or organisation should be focused on. It is the right thing to do and I am proud of the club that we are leading the way in this.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Trouble is that people can't separate it from the other aspects of the club. Yeah, let's have a DVD/it's just like having a trophy/open top bus parade etc. and all the usual jokes but then again there are enough people that like to crow about us being one of the top clubs financially so why not be pleased that we are doing our bit from an environmental aspect?

What about the millions of tons of concrete, steel and glass that went into the new stadium?
Then there is the state of the art training centre.
If the club bought up half of tottenham and turned into a rainforest, how many hundreds of years would it be before we paid off our environmental debt? Maybe it is thousands?

Prem football is not environmentally friendly at the best of times with all the jetting around and fans travelling in bulk. Grow lights and floodlights. It is meant to be extravagant. It is not a model on how we should live our lives.

I'm realistic. I'm in it for league titles and trophies.
