Got what we deserved tonight. So many poor performances. Son shouldn't have started, Kane was having a stroll and PEH was infuriatingly poor with his distribution. And please god let that be the end of Royal. He's shit going forwards and twice as bad defending.

All this is true ,and in all those positions we have added players, it is a scandal that Conte does not make any chages earlier when it is clear to everyone. What does he need a bigger squad for? waiting until the regular 11 are dead or injured before he changes.

it is weak management and it makes for a toxic dressing room very fast if player feel they deserve a chance, but can not get it when they players the compete against just strolls around

Conte has to take some blame here, we looked very comfortable but no cutting edge. Something needed a change.

Changes should have been made earlier kulu, Spence and sess should have been the changed but only kulu which unbalanced the team.

I was hoping for the draw by the end, if you can't win it don't lose it but I ain't got no complaints about that result, whether or not they deserved it they earned it, and actually they probably did deserve it.
I thought we were poor tonight, even Harry Kane couldn't pick a pass to save his life, Sonny is nowhere near his best and it appeared the six yard box was out of bounds to our forwards. Nobody could kill the ball when receiving it and nobody could hold up the ball once they got it under control. Stray passes and half-hearted efforts.
Still a ways to go back to our best I'm afraid.

Yea this is one where I think Conte might be being a bit too cautious but then again every point counts so to start Spence conte probably wants a super easy fixture so it’s lower risk.

I agree though I think he could nail down that spot tbh.

Defensively he’s very very solid far more than Doherty and Spence in Conte’s view isn’t anywhere near ready so it’s probably more of a case of he’s the best we have right now, but yea I’m surprised Doherty has barely had a minute yet, we looked a lot better going forwards with him towards the end of last season, maybe his injury isn’t up to speed to start games yet.

TBH I really have no idea where this impression came from. He's easily ran past by players. He's not better than Doherty IMHO. Similarly worse, but not better.

There were other problems tonight - shaky backline and Romero I don't think is playing well at the moment, midfield two had poor games, wingbacks still an issue, Conte's reluctance to do anything - but as I've said repeatedly last few weeks, the attacking unit is badly out of form and eventually that will catch up with you. Too many games the play is dying tamely when it's going into the frontline. Son and Kane were again dismal and are showing fuck all in any aspect; can't control a ball, can't pass, can't shoot, can't run, fuck all.

Conte has got to get them out of their funk or find the alternatives.

Also the snobbishness that some fans have over teams not in the big 3 leagues pisses me off, and that some thought this would be an easy three points is frankly delusion. Sporting are a good team (as I said personally they are the second best team in the group), a loss is absolutely not an unexpected result and this group isn't piss easy.

As I said this is a group where we are both favourites but at the same time it wouldn't be surprising if we failed to get out of it. A loss away against the 2nd best team in the group is no crisis, we move on.

I don't see the snobbishness. People are saying how shit we are. Sporting were ok, nothing special, defended quite well and broke well, but we were passive shite. It's not like Sporting had to play well to beat us, we should be putting these teams under far more pressure. Did their keeper have a save to make? barely.

Son and Kane not a single shot on target. The football is pretty woeful and has been all season.
