Goal in the last 5 mins there could have been massive in terms of getting back that never say die attitude we had with Poch that season

I think we are being harsh on Southampton, they defended very well, I’m just happy to see a game with a plan, effort and design. Gil looks like a baller.

Not getting too fussed about that. Saints have a good record against so called top sides.

Ultimately we were completely robbed by a system that’s supposed to eliminate teams getting robbed. And this time there are no grey areas. Either corrupt or incompetent officiating- an embarrassment for the FA

Massively frustrating performance. No idea why that Kane goal was disallowed but we should have caused them more problems.

Frustrating as per usual, Winks tried to pick a few passes; but no creativity through the middle or on the flanks.

If Liverpool or United has those goals ruled out we'd be hearing about it for the next month. Because it's us there'll be a token mention on Sky Sports ref watch where some retired ref makes excuses for it.

I want to see the camera looking across at that offside and I want to know how the second one was disallowed as well? The standard of our officials is awful. Absolutely awful.

We’ve been perceived to have too many decisions go our way (for once), it was never going to be allowed to continue.

It’s why I’m not too pissed off. It’s the way the league is. We can’t do anything about it.

Goes without saying that Conte has been amazing but not the right changes today mostly in terms of keeping Doherty on the left and Gill right but that game was one that Ndombele could have had offered the type of pass we was screaming for instead of that ineffective wide play.

Credit to Southampton for defending so well. KWP played with a point to prove. For those who think Southampton played well, they defended with 7-8 players mind you. Maybe even Liverpool will have trouble scoring against that wall. Worse for us to have 2 goals wrongfully chalked off.

If any, I really hate how bad our crossings were. You just know how good Citeh and Pool will be against such walls because of their quality crossings.

Sorry but for me that falls on the manager. He been pretty flawless since coming in the but that decision to bring on doherty at halftime killed us. Wasted a sub we didnt need to waste and if he wanted to save reggie being on a yellow card im fine with that but he should have brought gil on at that point to play on the left. The fact gil then came on to play on the right was another shite decision. Both wingbacks did nothing but cut inside then. Called it at the time too when we had loads of time to win the game. 2 points drops through poor tactical decisions. We needed a creative player adding central not lopsided wingbacks that have yet to do anything in a spurs shirt. Very baffling subs

Playing at right wing was wrong. Also why did we play opposing wing backs… Gil is a left footer who gets to the by line?
