Good article...
But what is this current trend in journalism where this "5 things we learned..." shit?
Please don't take offence, but I find it to be a real dumbing down of journalistic writing in general. Is it lazy readership? Is it that people won't take the time to read an article of continous prose and prefer bulletpoint "Daah, dis is the tings in da article all listed so you won't get confused?"
No offence taken. I think it's just that journalism is looking for new ways to evolve and the web viewing stats do seem to indicate that people prefer sectioned articles to long flowing pieces. Don't get me wrong I love to write the latter and still will, but there's no harm in mixing things up to suit different readers.

We want ten.
List too long, go back to five!
Can we make it six? All these uneven numbers are not good for my OCD.
