Season Ticket Renewal Thread (Read first post)

I cant bring myself to renew. I cant go on lining the pockets of these scumbags in charge

I feel exactly the same. I’ve been holding out for some positive news but yesterday pretty much killed that

It’s a closed shop. The only route in started about 20 years ago. I was in and around the top 1500-2000 for a while. But it takes some stamina and finances to keep at it year after year. Unless you sell your ticket on.

I meant people at the top of the pile probably sell on tickets when needed.

I renewed today for me and my near adult son

I totally respect those on here who feel they can't do this anymore; and see renewing as 'endorsing' Levy's broken regime.

Equally, I'm not going to be driven away from the club I love by him

We all know it's basically a 'hostage situation' now

'We' (the Spurs faithful) don't get freed until Levy changes his ways (unlikely) - gets forced out by Lewis (doesn't look imminent) - or we get bought out in full (again not likely)

But there is one reason to be a bit more hopeful (maybe this is just a justification I'm using to make myself feel better about the decision)

As compared to 3 or 4 years ago, the majority of season ticket holders, and other regular match goers, are no longer suffering from Stockholm Syndrome with it comes to Levy - we can all see clearly that he's a busted flush on the football side and is holding the club back.

And given it may (indeed it probably will) get worse before it gets better, the heat from our supporter base is only going to increase on Levy and the Board.

You can't be heard properly if you're not in the ground.

So I've decided to stay in my seat, and 'Levy Out !'

Pretty sure you have to renew first , then when they have sorted out who has renewed and what seats have become available you will get offered a move. That's what happened to me last season but where I sit there was nothing better available so stayed put.

Great post, I agree. The 90 minutes on the grass is only a small bit of it nowadays for me. I think I will go back to eating and drinking outside the stadium from next season though, that’s where I’ll withdraw my money.

you have to renew and when renewals are over you then have a window to try and move and they do so in the order you renew. That was what happened last season and I’m sure it will be the same.

Season ticket went a couple of seasons ago, membership has just gone now. I’m done giving the club any money.

Just thought I'd share something that happened last summer. One of the guys I go with decided not to renew meaning the seat next to mine became available. I got a phone call from the club asking me if I knew anybody who'd be interested in it! Seemed a bit weird given we've supposedly got tens of thousands on the waiting list.

Exactly the same happened with me and to be honest it was a blessing as I needed another seat and so I purchased it.

I can’t give up my tickets as my kids are getting older and going to Spurs will soon be one of the few things we still do as a family.

In a slightly different context, after 62 years of supporting Spurs I have finally said enough is enough and decided to cancel my one hotspur membership. Having received my renewal invoice I tried to follow the club's website to do so, but found it frustratingly difficult going up blind alleys. So I wtote to them saying I do not authorise using existing stored card details as I would like to cancel. The return email just stated I could not cancel until payment has been taken and if I then decided to cancel to contact the club. It basically means they make it very difficult to get out of the system and ignore my request not to use my details. Has anyone else had this experience

I'm 33 tomorrow I had my season ticket since I was 6. Halfway through 21/22 season not long after Conte joined I decided I was done the last summer I decided to not renew now membership or anything. This was the first first season since 1996 I haven't been to a single game and it's been the best decision I've made, do not regret it for a second. I don't buy anything from the club shop either.

To be honest I'm half tempted to delete twitter aswell as really fed up with it now but it's my only form of social media

I will renew on Monday but have decided not to spend any money on ANYTHING else; food, merch, programmes, anything. So I will be buying my friends food or something outside beforehand next season

I think it’s easier making your point from the inside if needed, plus whilst you could say it doesn’t help matters giving them £1000 for a season ticket, my seat would be taken by potentially 19 different tourists from around the world, who would spend a lot more than £1000 a season between them! When I’ve been in the shop, I’ve seen some many Koreans spend hundreds of pounds on shirts etc.

I see this as the best way to support the team - I always will, but not the regime.

Not season ticket but does anyone know how you can move from Hotspur Plus to Hotspur only? I can only seem to cancel my renewal for Hotspur Plus but no option to get Hotspur instead. I've had to select the option to register interest. I'd like to at least downgrade my level but want to still have a good chance to get to the games.

I haven’t purchased anything except my ST for about 10 years.
I stopped buying programmes when we moved house as we had boxes of them stored away and you can now read everything on the internet.
I take a bottle and fill up with water in the drinking fountain on the concourse.
They will probably be grateful when I finally give up my ST

Thanks, that's what I've done so far just cancelled and sent a request for the other one. Not sure on loyalty points either, if we make a cup final they will be taken by ST holders anyway.

I just cancelled the direct debit with the bank.

Reporting you to social services for child cruelty
