Ball over the top for Son, it's intercepted, but it's fallen to MalinoVSKYIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Atalanta, Malinovskyi resta in uscita
"Il mercato non è chiuso". Gian Piero Gasperini ha certificato che le ultime ore di questa sessione estiva di calciomercato in casa Atalanta possono ancora riservare grosse sorprese. Ewww.calciomercato.com
"The market is not closed". Gian Piero Gasperini has certified that the last hours of this summer transfer market session at Atalanta can still hold big surprises. And many of these surprises could go from 3 names linked to the attacking department with Boga, Ilicic and above all Malinovskyi in the front row among the outgoing players. Precisely that of the Ukrainian playmaker could be the hottest name in these final bars
Don’t get your hopes up
You can change your line-up right up until kick-off can't you?
I think it's fairly obvious if we can't get the players we really want for whatever reason then loans are the way we are addressing this.I think the issue is we can't afford or don't want to sign him permanently. James would be a loan deal as much as i'd rather we didn't sign him.
Fine with loans, as long as they are an improvement on the players we have.I think it's fairly obvious if we can't get the players we really want for whatever reason then loans are the way we are addressing this.
Lets see how it plays out over the next 30 hours or so.
Agree... loans are really not a bad thing either... if we are not 100% sure on a player, you can keep him on his toes and see how he fits in at the club. If you then have the possibilty to buy him later then it's a win win... if not... then it's goodbye and thanks... we've had waaaaay to many misfits in recent years with huge fees and long contracts. And they are difficult to get rid of again.I think it's fairly obvious if we can't get the players we really want for whatever reason then loans are the way we are addressing this.

It's not always that simple though is it. a/We know how hard it is to shift players who are no longer in the plans. If you get an offer for one you kind of have to take it. and b/ If Conte thinks for instance Gil needs to be playing every week in order for him to ever have a chance of getting up to the standard he requires, then isn't it best to loan him so that he can?Fine with loans, as long as they are an improvement on the players we have.
CL is going to be as much as a battle as it was last season with the current squad. So we're going to agree to disagree here. We shouldn't be weakening the squad for the sake of a single player's development, especially when our opponents are making improvements. IMO Gil should only leave if we get a player of better quality or one that's a better fit for Conte's system, whether that's on loan or on a permanent deal. It's not always that simple though is it. a/We know how hard it is to shift players who are no longer in the plans. Now if a lesser player comes in as a transfer with a contract I'd be against it, but as a loan to cover a gap for the greater good of the team long term I don't see an issue tbh.
But this is the thing isn't it, Gil doesn't seem like a fit at all right now. I mean on Sunday he brought Spence on in front of him to play RWF. Now it might be that Conte is far more sentimental than anyone knew, and he did it because he played for Forrest last season, but somehow I doubt it.CL is going to be as much as a battle as it was last season with the current squad. That might be the case, but Conte has also publicly stated if Gil was to leave then he would want a replacement, so he clearly wouldn't be content to let him leave and use Spence as a right wing option. But this is the thing isn't it, Gil doesn't seem like a fit at all right now. If Malinovskyi wants to come here so much then since he has a year left maybe we can convince him to accept a shorter contract ie. 2 years with an option, funded by selling Lucas? Hopefully.I'd happily accept this guy on loan as Gils replacement, and James as a HG option on loan for Lucas. I'd think that's a net upgrade without costing much and fixes some of the HG issues.
