Surprised there isn't a thread on this already but UEFA really have excelled themselves this time in showing just how little they give a shit about racism.
Now I know that showing your pants for an opportunistic commercial gain is a heinous heinous offence which really should result in a lifetime ban from football, but I would suggest that possibly, just possibly, vile racist chanting and actions in the crowd is a more important issue for the footballing authorities to deal with.
So to issue a fine to the Croatian FA which is more than £15,000 lower than the fine given to Bendtner is just ridiculous. If that level of fine is all that will be dished out for racist chanting, what incentive is there on the relevant FAs to get tough on their own fans?
