Is 6th place guaranteed Europa? Hard to see even a total collapse meaning we get 7th now.

I'm having a pessimistic moment but still think we will get a minimum of 8 more points.

6th is conference league at the moment. If City win FA Cup it becomes EL.

Yep. But if it's United that catch us then 6th would be Europa no matter who lifts the cup.
Good to hear. Newcastle can get max 65 points. Hard to believe we won't get at least 6 more.

For what its worth I still think we can have a major say in the title race and am not ruling out 4th. But would definitely prefer Europa to Conf due to better standard of opposition, but still a chance to rotate the team

Yep so realistically United are the only team that can catch us so if we finish 6th then it's still europa league. So we are good. I'm more than OK with europa. We have seem last couple of seasons big teams take it seriously. Since the conference league the europa has felt more important

I’ve got us down for eight points as well, trouble is looking at Villa’s fixtures I see us finishing six points behind them.

That's happened a few times this season then 3 games later they are several behind again
Yeah, united are really awful and I don't expect them to catch us. But it puts us in unflattering perspective. They are a basket case. When you watch them you just can't believe they have the points they have.

But you take our new manager bounce away from the start of our season, and we're bang average. Not as bad as them, but also surprising we're in touching distance of Villa and 4th.

I think you could say this about nearly every team other than Arsenal and City. And even City are having a so-so season by their standards.

I think it’s the nature of the league this season.

I do think selling Kane has caught up with us though. We’ve traditionally had a massive dip after selling our best players. We were awful when we sold Bale and we were also terrible after we sold Berbatov and Keane.

Yeah, it's been a bonkers season this year, with most teams capable of either handing out a beating, or recieving one themselves.
However it ends, it's been one of the most entertaining seasons for a while.

Palace have won their last three..
Utd away to Palace and cannot see them winning that. Villa also away to Palace on last day.
Utd have to play Newcastle at home. I think 6 more pts gets us 5th.
I know it doesn’t happen much but not impossible to win at Liverpool . They are poor at the moment .
Victory over Arsenal can kick start us to 4th.

Yeah we'll surely clinch 5th with just the two wins over Burnley and Sheff U but to beat Villa to 4th I think we have to get at least five wins from the six. The chances of doing that are miniscule.

And still these Le Arse pricks with all the luck in the world, Haaland now out! Yes, he's not had the same output as last season but I would still rather having him in the side against Brighton.

Man Shitty simply have to win tonight. And not just for the points, the table etc etc but pressure is a wonderful thing and it would put more pressure on Le Arse for the game on Sunday. Come on Shitty!
