No need to be rude.

Linesmen have been told not to raise their flag, and refs not to blow their whistle, right away on close calls, specifically to allow VAR to review the incident.

The comments not understanding rules was not aimed at you in particular, just in general.
I reckon it will be at least into next year, after the 50th exact same example of handball is given, that some people may just start to understand the laws have actually changed for example.

In specific example above I cannot see your issue here at all though, apart from wrongly criticizing a decision. You said diabolical decision why goal was disallowed and couldn't understand why referee blew, but it was offside, even if was probably a bit tighter decision given by the assistant than usual so far this season.

Doesn't look offside to me, maybe you've got a different view. The issue is that we don't have a VAR review because the linesman and ref flagged and blew too early.

The explanation they've just given is nonsense. Says the ref had to blow because the lino raised his flag, which clearly isn't correct. Ref can ignore a flag.

I don't think it is abiut not understanding it, it's about the lack of clarity and awareness.

Then again not many of us are refs and at times it does feel like brain surgery.

I mean perfect example tonight, assistant ref put their flag up, they shouldn't have as per the protocols. Imagine that happening to us, we would be up in arms.

Good yard offside when they showed the view in line with the attacker, instead of the view 20 yards off centre camera angle, which always totally distorts the angles

I didn't see that angle, so I'll take your word for it.

McNeil and Lennon who has just left the club both have one black parent but really the town of Burnley is 92% white (with the rest mostly South Asian and Bangladeshi for whom football usually isn't a priority) and most other towns up there are similar so the catchment area for the youth academy is almost exclusively white. It is a bit surprising that Dyche hasn't signed any black players from other clubs or abroad apart from Lennon, I'll give you that.
Thats not true at all

Just seen the Connolly pen incident on MOTD. I don't think that's a pen. Just as I didn't think Dier on Pogba was a pen. Or Lamela on whichever City fuckknuckle went over easily way back last season when Poch was still in charge.

I wish the ref had been forced to review the Pogba pen after restart,

Sheffield United losing again. It's starting to look like a full on second season syndrome is on the cards, I think them and Burnley will both drop well down this season.

Bamford is the first ever Leeds player to score in all the three first PL games in a season. Even when they were good none of their players did that.

Good result for Leeds, but this whole game has felt like a Championship match. It’s not been dull exactly but it hasn’t exactly been a classic either.
