One thing i'll take from this season - the table doesn't lie.

The gulf in quality from the team at the top (shudder) to the rest is crystal clear. Chelsea have huffed and puffed while Bournemouth have looked devoid of ideas and quality. Burnley have been all over Newcastle and West Ham have made Southampton look ordinary. This season has seen some the most atrocious football I can remember at the prem. level.

and rightly so. Didn’t see the game so not sure if you’re being ironic or not but one good game against Brighton doesn’t make up for 3 years of shite.

I've seen last couple of palace highlights. He has missed sitters but his overall play hasnt ben very decent

I've said same thing. I cannot remember a season where so many teams are so inconsistent.
I put it down to the coaches of all these teams being stubborn and trying to implement styles that dont suit the players at their disposal, putting square pegs in round holes, and wanting to play like Barcelona and to hell with the consequences. Fk the basics, we play like this.
Defences of years gone by must watch these clowns gifting goals every weekend and laugh. I do.

Bournemouth are such a mentally wobbly team. Every setback leaves them looking bereft and hopeless, every goal spurs them on to do even better.

Luckily they seemed to turn it around at half time today.

Which makes me think that once we have a fit squad ( yeah right ) and Jose has added a couple he wants and got his style implemented, it’ll be third minimum for us. Outside the top two, the league is like a great big pussy waiting to get fucked?

Really hope we go for Ake in the summer. Think he would be a good replacement for Toby long term.

Alonso is so average, but pops up with quite a few goals.

Don't know about average. He can pass shoot and defend to a reasonable standard. He's a very good full back.
Now Eddie Howe is bang average. Probably the worst manager in the league

agreed on Howe. hugely overrated. Bournemouth don’t seem to improve.
