Re-watching this video from the AON series with Levy, Tangy and the player liaison officer, jokes aside about Levy’s educational story the comparison between Sissoko turning it around with hard work compared to Tangy who was saying ‘I’m not 💯’ and ‘something isn’t right’ when Tangy has more talent than Sissoko shows that some players unfortunately just don’t have the mindset to succeed at the top level of sport.

He also just doesn’t seem happy in himself at all. I don’t know if he doesn’t enjoy football or doesn’t like England but I hope we find him a move and can all draw a line under this.

It’s also refreshing that our signings the last year to 18 months or so especially have by in large been solid characters with a good head on their shoulders : Forster, Porro, Kulu, Bentancur, Maddison, VDV etc etc.

Seems we have learnt our lesson.

He's such a strange character... in all the photos he pulls a miserable face, but if he is genuinely so miserable why isn't he pushing to move somewhere he can be happy? Yeah he will likely have to take a pay cut, but surely his motivations can't be solely about money.

If he doesn’t get leave today, there’s still the hope of Saudi, with there window not closing till later.
Turkey could be an option too. Iirc there has been some interest for him. Anyways, I doubt, even with how unmotivated he is, he'd stay here without being registered.

When tempted, no one should say, “Big Ange is tempting me.” For Big Ange cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each Spurs fan is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire for a world class midfielder and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to Tanguy; and Tanguy, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Big Ange of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of attacking football, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.

James 1:13-18

Currently awaiting name change to 'Cult of Ange High Priest' as Tanguy was a false prophet.

He is still here I take it? Haven’t kept up with today but was hoping we found a way to fire him to the moon or something

In all the photos he's seen, he's literally working. It's a misery to him.

If there is any new ruling in future footballer's contract, it has to be called the Tanguy's rule.

Is it confirmed me won’t be registered to play for us this season? I guess he is waiting for Saudi or Turkish move as surely he doesn’t think we would pay off 2 years on contract

Saudi, window doesn't finish for another week, fingers crossed
Sadly I suspect he’s perfectly content to sit and collect a salary. I don’t see why anyone would offer him a contract when it seems he’s turned down most other opportunities.

Surely us loaning him out somewhere and covering half his wages is better than him sitting around here and covering them all?

In addition, when loaning out players do they have a real choice where they go?

Yes. Both club and player must consent.
