The look dier gave him, there’s one of sonny aswell giving him evils
they should be desperate. 3 of those 4 below Leeds are getting relegated. The only way I can see him leaving this Jan is if Newcastle gets desperate come deadline day.
Hopefully their owners think he could play with Saint Maximin
Hopefully they also think dele and lo celso make an awesome trio with ndombele…that could really play well with st maxThe only way I can see him leaving this Jan is if Newcastle gets desperate come deadline day.

I expect these types of lads are, but there's lots of stories about how scouts make claims about players like Ibra or Suarez that they aren't cut out for it, but they turn out to be unfounded.
Main issue was that Poch had a bit of a rager for him, and had just got to a CL final (albeit in somewhat unconvincing form), so the club decided to back him. I imagine it wasn't exactly a good time to be questioning things, with Poch (reportedly) being in a funny mood. So early in the window, they blow the lot on Ndombele.
It's one of those that could have been a masterstroke, and could have been a disaster. There's been plenty of examples like this in the last couple of decades, from David Bentley, to Paulinho. It's great being disconnected enough from the process that we, as fans, can apply retrospective and say that we shouldn't have bought him, but he could have been a "what if" player. Probably is, in another timeline.
I think this is about the size of it. Even if there were suggestions of a questionable attitude Poch would have met him and backed his own judgement. He would have thought he could have coached it out of him. And the talent is/was there that the upside would have been enormous.
obviously it hasn’t worked out but we can’t blame the club for backing the coach.
He does have talent though which is what I said. The problem is he's not worth anything like what we paid for him. His wages are way too high, he's basically hit the jackpot with us. Getting paid about 5x what he should. He's the worst sort of player to overpay too because he will happily just count the cash and stroll through games. People are talking like he's not even a footballer, he is a footballer just doesn't belong at this level. I also compared him to Taarabt a few pages back but Taarabt also had talent. We just didn't make him one of our highest earners and break our transfer record on him. He just didn't have enough of the fundamentals to play at the top level just like Ndombele. He's a Youtube highlights player who we should have scouted far better before offering to make one of our highest earners. If he's made available at what he's really worth and on the wages he should be there will be interest in him. However he's not going to take a big pay cut and why should he? We said the same in favour of Bale.No you ore so wrong he is a poor player - he hides in football matches, he doesn't show for the ball, plays for himself and not for the team his effort is minimal - he has some skill but he doesn't affect football matches he plays in areas where it doesn't matter a turn in your own half beating a half hearted press might look good on a youtube highlight reel but in reality offers nothing, he has no understanding of how to impact football matches a midfield player in name only as he is no appreciation of defending or digging out his team mates
The sorry thing is he has some attributes that could be useful but he doesn't want it - someone will take a chance on him and he will score an occasional goal and people will watch it and tell us what we missed but he is basically another Taarabt - what a waster
Surely Ghaly was gone before Redknapp arrived? The infamous shirt throwing incident was under Jol, I can't remember but surely Hossam didn't outlast both Jol and Ramos?I think its a real shame what's happening. Kane and Son aside, he is easily the most talented player we've had in the last few years, but it's hard to see a way back for him now - he will likely get booed if he is subbed on (Redknapp once cancelled a Ghaly sub when the crowd reacted to him coming off the bench) and I imagine some of his team mates will just not trust him anymore.
Part of me thinks that even a casual, disinterested Ndombele still offers more chance of changing a game than any of our other midfielders, none of which have had particularly good seasons, and for that reason we should keep him around. But I don't think Conte thinks that way and it would be in complete contrast to the ethos he is trying to build in the squad.
We could really have done with him playing well in the next couple of games. Now I doubt he'll even feature
What kind of Stockholm syndrome have Tanguy put some spurs fans in, even if he would have thrown the shirt off and spat on it there would still be people saying "such a shame because he is so talented and nearly hopes that Conte gets the sack so Tanguy gets his 4th fatso pree season and another chance.... this is some kind of next-level Stockholm syndrome on this forum for this guy.I think its a real shame what's happening. The guy is just a prick to me and i don't even care about his football because i hope he will never play a min again for us
You know it is possible to despise his attitude whilst also acknowledging his enormous talent and the fact that its a shame things have gone badly
What I don’t understand is how this attitude wasn’t something that was flagged as a serious issue before we parted with north of 50m quid for him. It’s bizarre.
I really hope the club is investing a lot of money into our scouting and recruitment because, Christ, we’ve spent some serious cash on shite over the past few years
Hmmm what?Njie Nkoudou Ndombele
Hmmmm
