Ali Gold trying to stir pandemonium when that is almost clearly not what Jose meant.

"I know that Ndombele will not help us because his injury will keep him out for the next two matches."

He's done nothing to better Ndombele's situation of late with his consistent speculation and nagging questions to Mourinho about his situation.

Are we thinking legit injury or he really wants a move and doesn't want to risk himself the rest of the season?
Starting to think Hojbjerg has been his replacement all along. Maybe Jose wants Lo Celso at 10 with two holding players in the double pivot.

Just need to make sure if we shift him that we get a proper player in return. Ndombele has such a high ceiling, can't be trading him for the likes of Nelson Semedo or Samuel Umtiti just because they have played at a big club.
Problem is Barca don't really have an equivalent player anymore. Dembele maybe? I'd take him but likely no cash with that one and we'd need to replace Ndombele's creativity.

Hojberg is not ndombele's replacement .. He is wanyama replacement and we have replaced dier with winks ... Dembele with ndombele and eriksen with lo celso ... If we sell ndombele, we will buy another player in that position ...

There's two option ... Either we go to atletico and tell them take ndombele and give us partey or we go to lazio and tell them give us SMS and take ndombele .... Direct swap, all parties happy ...

I would only trade ndombele for one of these two players ...

I'm not saying he's anything like him but in terms of position it makes sense if we're sticking to 4-2-3-1, no? Skipp, Winks, Sissoko, Gedson, Hojbjerg as CMs, Alli and Lo Celso competing for the 10 spot. I'm not saying that lot are good enough, just about what Jose wants.

You do realise these players would have to agree to these deals right?

Think in terms of 25 men squad. We bought ndombele to play in the center of the midfield, not at the base of the midfield ... Even poch used him in the center and winks behind him ... Jose tried him couple of times at the base of the midfield and it didn't work ...

In 4231- for the middle two we had wanyama/dembele/dier - two players for each position .... Basically we moved dier with winks , ndombele for dembele and there's still one spot remaining in the midfield ...

I would swap Ndombele for Coutinho in a heartbeat. Despite our woes this season... 3 astute signings and we’ll be back up there.

When Jose came he told he doesn't see sissoko as cm ... He is playing him there because of circumstances ... Sissoko's best position jose sees as right winger where he played vs Bournemouth at white hart lane this season ... We loaned gedson as almost half of our squad was injured and we needed body in the field ... Skipp is still u21 and don't clog up the 25men squad and whether jose sees him as one of the four options in cm role for next season I dont know ...

Alli is definitely number 10 ... The way Lo Celso playing, I think he is best suited in deeper role ...

Think i'd prefer Dembele from Barca as I mentioned. Coutinho is a good player but he's coming into peak age now. Dembele has nowhere near reached his potential and still only 23. I'd be delighted if we could do a straight swap there and get Eze in to replace Ndombele's creativity.

Coutinho would be good, he can score some worldies ... But if jose can get one of Partey or SMS, our team will be transformed to another level ...

I like Dembele too but he’s more injury prone than Kieron Dyer.

Dembele always remain injured .... But son, kane, dembele(left footed) would be very good front 3 ...

I can only see Ndombele going on a loan with a compulsory option for next summer. As such, probably Coutinho on loan and Lo Celso becoming the deeper midfielder fulltime seems like a possible outcome.

If he leaves I can’t see us letting him leave and getting money in a years time, would probably want it straight away

A loan? He’s our record record signing, are you joking?
If he’s not up for playing for us then fine let’s cut our losses and use the money to get players Jose wants.

The losses you mention will be very big unfortunately if we sell.

In an uncertain market with the pandemic I think we will see more loan type arrangements. That aside, it is not so unusual as seen with Coutinho at Barca and Sanchez at Inter.

It simply cannot be argued that its not been an absolutely disastrous season from him.

For a £60m record signing you expect much better. You expect effort at the very least and I've not seen that on the pitch enough.

I hope he gets his head down this summer and a few other signings help push him because he's very very talented.

But if I was a betting man....

What we want and what’s out there this summer are two very different things. Money is tight and there will only be a few clubs that can afford him and most of them have got other priorities like Barca with Lautaro Martinez this summer.

A loan with compulsory option isn’t that different from a transfer. Most transfers are structured payments anyway.
