We spent around £110m on the deal for him.

We've given him everything he needs to succeed.

He still can't be bothered.

So if you think this is being blown out of proportion, with all due respect, I think you're very much mistaken.

i'd winner this 100 times if i could, the bloke is absolute liability, thing is not the first time he's decided he can't be arsed.

Speaking of Kane, he literally went on strike, refused to train, and has been waging a media war on the club since last season and he got on the bench just fine without Nuno "convincing him to want to play for Tottenham."

I know they're different players but surely for disciplinary issues there shouldn't even be a hint of double standard?

Though this is less to do with TN and more to do with Nuno.

I'd love to see if we could do a swap plus a bit of cash for Jude Bellingham. Ndombele is still young enough that Dortmund could be interested.

Optimistic ratings welcomed.

Disciplinary issues (both players) can be dealt with by a fine. If Kane is still training and applying himself on the pitch we move on. If TN isn't being anything other than a petulant lazy arse - then I want him nowhere near the squad.

Yeah but he was present in training at least. Reverse the scenarios and Kane would still play/TN still wouldn't, imo. And if that's the case, discipline isn't the one rule for all regime Nuno is often praised for.

It's clearly that Kane has slotted back into training and is being professional and training as hard as he always does. Ndombele clearly isn't professional and isn't training well. That's the difference

Epic. I'd say it's "fairly" unlikely...

Just a smidge impossible. But only slightly.

I don't think that's clear at all. The only evidence we have to that effect is Nuno's statements and team selection. Kane came back and trained alone for the majority of days between arrival and his first minutes.

I think most likely he got sulky that Serge and Sissoko are surplus to requirements and was indifferent about his future and that has pissed off Nuno who wants PEH/Skipp/New Dele levels of dedication to the cause. It doesn't seem to me that he's downed tools, refused to train or is not fit, he is just too laid back and "cool" to go to that next level. You know Harry Redknapp would be building the team around him and letting him get away with it.

Players and staff come and go at all clubs. All pros will understand this and unless it makes the team weaker or affects their personal ambitions then they will get on with their own careers.

Absolutely agree that Redknapp would relish man managing Ndomble, but his management style is now a lot rarer.

And NDombele's past history with 2 other managers, plus ITK over the last 2 seasons.

It's not like this is the first we've heard of this problem with him.

No way Dortmund are paying 200k pw wages or swapping him for Bellingham who is going to be an absolute superstar in a few years time

We badly need this waste of space gone so we can sign a CM'er who can actually contribute.

If he stays we can only hope he knuckles down but I feel he has next to no chance of playing in Nuno's midfield, his work rate is just too poor.

Cheers Poch.

but what about his expected dribbles per 82 minutes combined with his expected jogs halfway across the pitch? :sneaky:

We purchased a grand prix car and wonder why it doesn't do well on a rallycross track.

Big difference for me is Kane has actually done it on the pitch to very high standards.

Ndombele aside from flashes of brilliance has not and can’t even get himself fit.

Should just throw this muppet and aurier in as swap deal for Kessie.

This comment isn’t directly aimed at you or anyone in particular, but I have to say I find it utterly fascinating how many completely unrealistic squad management suggestions we see in this place on a day to day basis.

In what world does a deal like that actually happen?

I honestly don’t know how some posters dream up these ideal scenarios and think that they are even remotely plausible. ?

Are we bot interested in Renato Sanchez- he’s the press resistant powerful player we hope Ndombele can be. (I know he failed at Swansea)
Is it just that he has no interest? Also. Mendes client so I’m suprised at no link
