I'll take Mourinho's comments at face value. He'll go with some combination of Dele, Lucas and Bergwijn.

What are the chances of all three being available for the rest of the season though?

Problem with Parrott is it's the worst possible time to throw a kid in. So much expectation, it could destroy him if it doesn't go well. Have to think about his long term development.

I disagree. I think it’s a free hit for Parrott. Nobody in their right mind would expect him to come in a be an over night sensation. If he played some full matches and got 3/4/5 goals then that would be a great return. Basically he’s going to have to play a role whether Mourinho likes it or not.

Love this from Mourinho though:

Now we have two options. To fall and die because it’s the fourth floor. The other is to climb. We will be on that balcony fighting with everything we have. There is only one possibility. No strikers, no market, no players nothing. The only help now is our crowd. The Tottenham supporters. That’s the only thing I ask because I can’t ask any more from the players that they’re giving. which is everything they have.”
Our away support is always top notch. It’s the home support that’s the problem

One to get injured against Leipzig. One against Chelsea. One against Wolves. Dier and Cirkin up top after that.

At least if we start playing Troy then it benefits Mick McCarthy.

And I like Mick McCarthy.

Jose has a history of exaggerating throughout his career. He also said around Xmas time that Lloris wouldn’t be back until late February.

I actually expect Kane to be available around a month earlier than has been said. And Son back early April. That’s my guess anyway.

The thing with Kane that I'm clinging onto is that his dad said he was ahead of schedule with his recovery.

As for the club's release about Son, they didn't say "a few weeks", they said "a number of weeks", which could be much longer even on the "optimistic" side.

If there is going to be a time when Jose throws his toys out of his pram then this would be it. However I don’t think he will go down the route of blaming Levy for not signing a striker.
