We are cursed and destined never to win anything. Obviously not. But it sure feels like it at the moment. You could blame training if it was all muscle injuries but it’s a complete range of injuries. However, it’s so concentrated on our best players. Any side loses this number of key players is going to struggle. We just need to be patient. The problem is others will be ‘you’re making excuses.’ They should just fuck off. It’s not an excuse but I think we have to re-evaluate what we can achieve this season. The injuries are that bad.

Hmmm... I'm lost for words... don't know what to say about our injury situation at the moment 😳🤷‍♂️ poor Benta and poor Ange... hope this galvanizes us even more as a club and team. No matter the results.... it will make us stronger if we stick together.

Mostly gutted for Bentancur 🙄

You know how itk goes, sometimes it's right and sometimes it's not.

It's not the itk's fault for passing on the info, we should be thankful that they do and comments like yours make people less inclined to do so.

They are not responsible for our reaction to whatever information they share, be it on transfers or injuries.

Yeah listen , I know that.

I send Herc nothing but love.

The posts from random twitter pages were a joke and then Herc popped up ...and argh I shouldn't be this annoyed about a football injury /injuries at the end of the day.

And never mind how it affects the team, it has to be absolutely devastating for Bentancur himself. He's worked as hard as he's been allowed to for 9 months only for some dirty little prick to take him out on his first start back.

Just seen a suggestion of sin bin trials being recommended where players go off for 10 mins for dissent and cynical fouls . Not sure if it's the answer but this is an example of one where that would be the least he deserves. If you know you can miss that time of a match maybe you're less likely to make this type of challenge.

Gutted mostly for Bentancur. The one player you didn't want to get injured again. He has to stay strong as I'm sure he'll be devastated.

Gutted for Rodrigo, after all the hard work to get back.

I feel no shame in wishing Matty Cash a career ender, I will rejoice if it were to happen.

Feels so sorry for Bentancur. He really doesn't deserve this. So do the club. Don't understand how can other fans be laughing at us at our current situations. Seriously what's so funny about a class player injured on his second game after coming back from 8-9 months absence? I don't remember much of us laughing at Virgil when he did his ACL or Gomez on his broken leg.

I also feel sorry for Cash, because as I believe in karma, he's gonna get it a few more times worse, because it's obvious he did these tackles with the intent to injure.. Just a matter of time he's paying all back...

Have no idea why his brother still can defend the abuses he got at X (Twitter). You don't want that, you don't do that.

Jelly and ice cream on that day. He’s a scumbag and deserves whatever comes to him. Be worth the suspension just to set Cuti on him with a knee high two footer.

So depressing , in what should be such an exciting season we have an endless list of long term injuries to vital players. It’s going to be brutal up until mid Jan February
Just makes it more exciting as we look to next season with a free pass this season. No panic buying in January to try and hold onto a top 2 position. Buy the right player for the right future. COYS

Fuck me can our luck get any worse? Fans have to accept this season is going to be about sticking with this style of football and we might scrape a European place, unless Levy gives us a fantastic January in the transfer market and does it early., then maybe we might challenge for top 5.

Doesn't have to be Ange - club can make its displeasure and concern known without involving the manager
The club is too soft in footballing matters IMHO. We have never seem to be in the fore front of being vocal in anything with respect to the game. Is like we, the club and fans, are in our own bubble when comes to the game.

I appreciate the classiness the club wishes to portray, but TBH I still feel the vibes how external sees Tottenham Hotspur is all about images of business, corporation and hospitality etc. Used to have Kane. Now Son. But still 'the polite and smiley nice South Korean captaining the club' kind of knowledge.

So as long as we don’t get any more ridiculous injuries then our midfield options in January will be:

PEH
GLC
Skipp
Kulusevski
Maddison (maybe)

Sarr, Bissouma and Bents all out.

We will need either or both Maddison and Richarlison back ideally as then it will give us more options like Kulu central and Richy on the left etc.

Richy is gonna be needed up front. Son is off to the Asia Cup.

Pretty resigned to our season being over now.

I really dislike hoping for a player to get injured.

And so I won't hope for Cash to get injured. But, I will say - that kind of tackle is very dangerous - and it should have been a red card at the time. I don't think officials appreciate how much weight and energy goes into those tackles at angles the legs are not designed to support.

Cash effectively put his entire weight on Bentancur's knees, at a sideways angle. And, he had no shot at the ball - it was bloody dangerous, and the results bear that out.

It deserves a 2nd look by the officials - and we need to cut out those tackles from behind.
