The last couple of his games at Genoa when we got seriously linked with him, plus reading some scouting reports and his data. How much of Drag did you see at Genoa to come to the conclusion he’s mediocre? Especially since he’s still so young.
I’m not having a go, just surprised anyone could have such a firm opinion about him since he’s hardly played.
I think Radu's contribution in the Fulham game highlighted the need for rotation when we are comfortable in games. Non starting players(especially new transfers) need time on the match day pitch to acclimatise and get up to speed. All the training in the world won't replace actual match time.I think he's done very well when he's come on towards the end of games to shore things up. I think the pace of the league probably caught him a bit by surprise against Fulham.
He looks like a class defender to me. Just needs time to settle and get a few more minutes under his belt, which he will do especially next season.
I do agree and he will surely get that opportunity with more matches to play next season.I think Radu's contribution in the Fulham game highlighted the need for rotation when we are comfortable in games. I’m amazed by some of the shit I’ve seen posted here. My goodness. For me, the signs are encouraging on Dragusin. He didn’t play great on Saturday but every single one of the starting eleven were miles off it so I wouldn’t draw any conclusions yet. Judging a player after effectively one and a half games is a new low. Fuck me.I think he's done very well when he's come on towards the end of games to shore things up. I think the pace of the league probably caught him a bit by surprise against Fulham.

Players develop differently. Van de Ven came in and ripped it up immediately. Gareth Bale took years to look like a player. He's been here for 3 months. Compare it to 1st start from Van de Ven who probably had like 3 training sessions at all before debut
Honestly I wouldn't pay too much attention to comments during and shortly after a loss. People react in anger and need to settle down a good day or two later to form reasonable opinions. I think when you go past the criticisms of him there are not many made the last couple of days and most comments have been reasonable and supportive. You might get 2 in 20 neg comments and people will reply about the 2 neg ones and make it seem like everyone is saying it.Some of the posts since the Fulham defeat have been laughable. I get that people are unhappy with a really poor result but we don’t need to draw from that generalisations like Ange’s football is not sustainable, or Dragusin is mediocre. I think the frustration has gotten the better of people.
I also recall Porro having a nightmare debut… he’s now one of the best RB’s in Europe
I can’t wait for a spurs game where we are comfortable.I think Radu's contribution in the Fulham game highlighted the need for rotation when we are comfortable in games. Only until you're 35.I'm 32 don't lumber me in with them!
My only issue was his reluctance to pass the ball out wide to switch play. He tended to always pass the ball back across to romero
Why not? What else do you have to do?I can’t wait for a spurs game where we are comfortable.
Luton were isolating him with their press. They were waiting for the ball to go to him and would press him from our left, cutting out the passing lane. They did the same thing to us that we did to Fulham earlier this season when we pressed Bassey playing as a RCB (Left footed).Still build up issues with him playing on the left but I thought he did well yesterday, I was particularly impressed with his 3/4 surging runs with the ball out of defence.
