X3...... I'm all in so a little more won't hurt. I'm still confident he signs for us, an awful lot of work has gone into this and I think he will have been very impressed after speaking to Ange so let's hope that the likes of Ange, Paratici and the PL are big enough to swing this. I'll say it again, I still think he signs for us, but it's a nervy time for my cojones
If they try to chop your bollocks off for this they’ll have to come for all of us. We stand as one

I try to stay positive, but have a bad feeling :depressed: Most likely due to previous experience in similar situations. I hope Im wrong!

But a BIG thank you to all our ITK’s for sharing stuff with us 💙
The previous experience is January 2022. We're being linked to many players. Look like we'll get someone, then the deal falls through. Then we sign someone better.

It's all good.

Hopefully.

I think he will go where his wages x playing time is highest.
Tough call. As I doubt there is a huge gap between what we would pay versus Bayern. He's also 21. He needs to be somewhere, that gives him a platform to get a barnstorming contract three or four years down the line. If he believes that his best bet is the Farmer's League, being coached by Skeletor, then good for him. Or, he can come to a real league and compete for best manbun award with Nunes, and get coached by someone who does not look like Skeletor.

While I hope he chooses us, I almost care as much that we have a back up option or two ready to go (even if it's a short-term loan stop gap). I knew nothing about Dragusin before the window. I obviously think he has massive potential but something I've been pleased about with our recruitment over the past window or two is that we have our targets and lists, if we don't get one - on to the next. We just badly need a CB body at the end of the day.

My understanding of transfers (which isn’t great) I think it’s unlikely Bayern would formally bid unless they have spoken to his agent and the player and at least have some understanding of the players demands

Or he does want the PL and his agent is playing them to get better personal terms and agents fee from us, straws clutching etc

Honestly, I didn't know who Dragusin was two weeks ago. I won't care if he's not the signing, but we really have to get at least 1 CB in.

let's hope it's a similar situation to when we got Berbatov.

He chose us over United because he felt we really wanted him. If Bayern are not throwing everythign at it and don't come across as fully all-in, he may sense that and prefer us.
Also, I wonder if Ange starts getting a sense that the player is not all in on us he might pull the plug himself. It's one thing getting a bit of head turn when BM throw their hat in the ring but if he quickly doesn't say fuck it I want Spurs it might be a red flag to Ange.

I think its safe to say this thread is one where I can shout HOUSE! on the SC Transfer Window Bingo Card of - cliched posts, excited hyperbole, patient ITK, meltdowns, huge rants about Levy.... and resigned rolling of the eyes/"tapping the sign" from A&C and the other mods.....
