Agree - you can do a lot worse than him as a 6th attacking option (and perhaps even break glass in case of emergency RWB) for a few months.

I think if Kulu gets hurt (hopefully not, but he’s the one we don’t really have real cover for), I’d hope we’dsee a lot more 3-5-2
You'd hope that with Porro as a genuine attacking/creative threat from wing back, 3-5-2 would be a more viable option. Previously whenever we played that formation, while it worked to an extent, there was a bluntness about our line-ups with Kane and Son the only real attacking threats.

Any line-up without Kulusevski is not our best line-up.

And, any line-up with Kulusevski playing more centrally is not much better than not playing Kulusevski.

Whatever happens he's given us the all one of the best nights of our lives. He absolutely supports Spurs as well.

I've genuinely never understood why he hasn’t kicked on though, maybe he was never trusted enough to ever feel comfortable in the team; but 'CL semi final Lucas' should have appeared much more than he did.

Was watching the highlights of the away game in Marseille the other day and he came in and was really good in that as well, I still think injuries permitting he can offer something.

He strikes me as a player that has never really developed throughout his career.

He was a wonderkid who broke through due to his amazing pace and direct dribbling ability...and his best traits remain his pace and his direct dribbling without a whole lot else to offer.

He was always good enough at that one thing to play at the very top level from a young age, but has never seemed to add anything to his game beyond being a nuisance defensively perhaps?

Thinking out loud here, but I wonder if being so naturally gifted as a kid and reaching the top so fast meant that he never had that extra impetus to grow and improve in the way that a Kane or a Son has? Or maybe he's just got a glass ceiling as a player and was never going to get any better?

Still a useful option to have at a club for 6 months, though, and has been a great servant over the years.

Will always be grateful to Moura for the effort and commitment he always shows and he will always be a hero for that night but unfortunately he has never really constantly been that effective for a lot of his time with us. Some good games, the odd brilliant goal, some great assists etc but most teams have realised now how he plays with his head down and just stand in his way. He either runs into them or passes blindly.
we need an upgrade really, not someone who is ok in a couple of positions at a push.

I think there's been a lot of valid points about his stand out traits sticking with him for his entire career and never being built on, which is a shame because they're great foundations for an attacking player. Oddly, I also follow my local non-league side and we have an attacker who has the exact same issue as Lucas, pace, direct but keeps his head down. Bonkers to think a player that plays at the very top of the game has never had that coached out of him.

I love Lucas - genuine guy and has us one of the best nights of our lives as others have said. His name is pretty much etched in our history with that hattrick In CL history in my view.

I like him as an option off the bench. He could also cover rwb if needed. He's more natural on the right than Richarlison and possibly Danjuma too. On paper it looks good to be fair.

Kane/Richarlison
Son/Danjuma----Kulusevski/Moura

Yeah if he can stay fit he will be very valuable for us in the second half od this season. It would be lovely if he a great Swansong to his Spurs career.
He is a player that may not have given us the consistent wonder that others have but he has given us moments that I will never forget. I really hope he plays from now until May and has an impact rather than everything fizzling out for him.

Based off what?

He has 0 goals & 3 assists in a year.

Strange one if true. I suppose one last payday has some allure over a swansong at home. Though I suppose he'd only be 33 at the end of that deal, so still feasible I guess.

Don't think a transfer rumour from a Turkish publication has ever been true, let's see if this one can break the duck.
You are so cynical mate, I mean this has been passed on via twitter by "Hotspur related" so must be true.
