Needs to show more he still has it, not just strolling around and make easy passes.

Frustrating to see no desire and effort from him in the third game now.

Come on, he deserved to get hooked!

Message should still be 'try and exert some fucking energy working hard for the team and seek out space' as opposed to drift by idly.

Honestly, I think just before Kane came on he was finding pockets of space and he is nursing himself back to fitness to be fair don’t know what people fully expect from him

I did caveat this in the match thread about his fitness so was hardly expecting (nor should anyone else) him echoing Inter/Maicon vibes but he barely broke into a sweat for the cause.

Just all very laboured, playing within himself and cutting an aloof figure out there who thinks he's above playing the likes of Royal Antwerp although he certainly wasn't the only one.

Do we think it is fitness or basically he has just lost it? I mean he does look awful and thought this game he would be a bit better than his previous showings but that hasnt really materialised

He has been awful lets admit that

I think everyone would understand he needs some time to get up to fitness and match practice, and that he might not be the player he is and is smarter with his runs etc.

But these initial two or three appearances, he's got to dial himself in way more I'd say, before anything else. At the moment it's almost like he's playing a testimonial match, some conquering hero returning home to bask in the glory. Tip toe about, don't run, absolutely no physical contact please, below zero intensity, will do some flicks and tricks and occasionally put his foot through it, and hopefully can delve into his greatest hits catalogue.

A lot of work to do.....

Let’s think logically though he hasn’t played for near a year he’s had a few injuries he’s training hard getting fitness back he needs the minutes in his legs and he is literally treating this as a mini pre season it’s not his fault the other 10 he gets paired with per game are also doing that ?!

I don’t know what people expect from him? The middle of November he’s pencilled in to be fully fit.

We can’t rush it and neither can he or he and we risk losing him totally.

People are forgetting he’s not the 21 year old winger anymore and to be fair to him his team mates don’t exactly help him out Dele totally ignored him in the first half with the easiest of passes and he would have scored.

It was almost deliberate by alli it was so bad.

Let him start the weekend with Kane sonny and tanguy then judge him
