Paul O’Keefe is just a man who reads Twitter and tells everyone about it. I saw a summary of one of his Twitter Spaces on here and that’s literally all he does. I don’t think he knows anything we don’t.

He clearly gets some info, but he’s literally called nothing early this summer. Was insistent we were signing Johnstone and the night before the Bissouma news broke he was talking about McKennie as the midfielder they wanted. Not to say he’s not reliable but just because he hasn’t heard something doesn’t mean it’s not going on.

O'Keefe seems to have gone from a person with a bit of info occasionally to the last word on Spurs transfer news over the course of the last two windows. Always a bit suspect when that happens. It's quite funny to see twitter elevate these people, he's constantly @'d by Spurs fans.

I can't see Conte being happy about no RWB and no CB before the Korea tour. They were the priority areas above all else from last season's squad. Surely one of Lenglet, Bremer or Spence gets completed at a minimum before the lads jet off. Really can't see the next couple of days being quiet. If Lenglet and Spence deals not happening then I reckon someone else will come into the reckoning pretty quickly in a Bissouma esque fashion.

I think Conte's mood depends on whether we are serious or not. It seems we are VERY serious about backing him, we are doing everything possible to get him what he wants. If he is unhappy with that, then there is no pleasing him

Seems from the Boro end they think it's closer than the Spurs end. I wonder if they're thinking they'll come back to Spurs and accept the offer on the table by a deadline set by Spurs if no improved offer is forthcoming? The sensible strategy therefore is to wait as late as possible and see if Spurs are silly enough to improve their offer in desperation.

He's a new agent with about two, lower league clients. He clearly hears things through others but is also an arrogant bore who won't get any exclusives. Take his info with a pinch of salt.

I must say this is starting to feel like one of those transfers that drags on for a long while then falls apart over the fine print. I really hope i'm wrong and it does actually get tied up in the next day or two but I am starting to think it wont happen. If Conte wants a WB by the weekend time is def getting tight.
