The name of Tottenham is also added to the long list of suitors for Destiny Udogie , Udinese left winger. The Spurs, who have strengthened themselves on the left with Perisic who freed himself from Inter, are looking for another reinforcement for the left-handed lane.

Tottenham, like Udogie

For now there is no negotiation for the player. Tottenham have not yet made an offer to Udinese for Udogie. For this reason it is more correct to speak of Spurs' approval of the young Italian.

Therefore, the number of interested companies grows on the boy. Not only Inter who want to replace Perisic, who went to Tottenham, but also the Spurs. The young man - who grew up in Verona - on the other hand was a great protagonist with the Friulians this year.

With the Venetians he had played very few games in Serie A and for him this was the first real one. With Udinese he played 37 games in total this season and scored 5 goals (all in Serie A), a symptom that - also considering his young age - the boy played an excellent year and his high interest is one of them. consequence.

This kid is a proper player.

Would be a fantastic signing if it happens.

He's left-footed and mostly plays at LWB - so maybe we have plans to shift Perisic to the right-hand side?

I think we'll have 2 or 3 signings like this that completely come out of nowhere.

No idea who this is, but loving that we seem to suddenly take an interest in absolutely anyone Inter are looking at.

Just looked and he's only ever played LWB/LM.

I get that he sounds like a big talent but why would we be in for another LWB?!

To fuck with Inter?

That's not enough reason to do this though, as funny as it sounds.

Sounds like a massive up and coming talent in Italy so it makes sense Paratici would be after him.

Maybe they think he could be adapted to RWB or a forward role if they went for him. Saka for example has played multiple positions for Arsenal and Bale was a LB when we signed him as a teenager.

For Paratici to truly become a legendary Spurs DoF he knows he needs to surpass Comolli's legendary assortment of right backs by signing an even greater gaggle of left backs. This kid could be our 2022 Chris Gunter, baby.

@THFCSPURS19 Alfredo Pedulla says we're interested in Lautaro again, but I can't remember if the guys reliable, and I don't know where to post info anymore.
If you think it's worth it you could open his thread back up. If not, no bother
Cheers buddy

Just watched the obligatory highlight reel and Conte definitely has a type doesn't he? Very tall, quick and strong wing backs. Kid looks very promising indeed.

Not sure why we'd sign another left wing back, though, unless we're planning to loan someone back out.

As good as Nahuel Molina has been and is, when I’ve watched Udinese, it’s been Udogie who’s impressed me more for his dynamism and top athleticism. And yes I know they play opposite sides. Obviously have no clue if he’ll sign, and even though I’m a huge fan, I don’t like the idea of Perisic at RWB. I’m sure he could do just fine there, but he has literally become the best specialist LWB in the world. No reason to mess with anything. I’ll bow to Conte’s plan, though, whatever it is. And if it involves Perisic at RWB then I’ll support it. Udogie is too good for a buy and loan as well. Not a Gil or Sarr type in my eyes (although that doesn’t matter). I’d expect big things from him after he settles, the talent is huge.

Might be from the same money pool as Gil or Sarr, the not-quite-ready young talents we can get cheapish but will get priced out if we wait. Would be great if we can make a habit of 1-2 of these every window, not all will pay off but the ones who do will pay great dividends.
