Some, not most.
But some people are already calling for Ange to go, or giving him until October.
Some fans are idiots.
Not sure you have any right to call anyone an idiot. People are entitled to there opinion just as you are. I for one do think Ange will be gone by October but hope I am wrong because he is a good guy and it will mean he has learned from his mistakes. With regards to Romero he himself realized after Chelsea he needed to improve his discipline as he was missing too many games. He was a liability. His ability was never questioned but if a player keeps missing games because of red cards or to many yellows then he is no good to the team, thankfully he seems to have turned his record around because on pure talent his is one of the best in the world and was simply outstanding on Sunday.

You can’t really say you don’t have a right to call anyone an idiot because they’re just expressing an opinion when it’s a perfectly valid opinion to say some fans are idiots. It’s not even a controversial opinion.

Yes true, but does it contribute to the fraternity of the site ?

You can play the man instead of the ball, but is it the right thing to do on Spurs Community forum ?
a place for the footballing opinions of Spurs fans.

You can clobber those who disagree with you by the force of your counter argument surely... rather than insults. ( no matter how much I agree with you)

The way I see it, we all say stupid shit/have stupid opinions from time to time so calling someone’s opinion idiotic is pretty tame and nothing to get our knickers in a twist about. I can accept others take it a bit more to heart, though.

Also, who really cares about football opinions. Its stupid. That’s my opinion.

Blimey, I didn't mean to upset anyone.
Maybe I should have said that in my opinion it's an idiotic opinion?

I honestly didn't think that saying "some fans are idiots" was controversial because I'm pretty sure I've said plenty of idiotic stuff too.

Jesus man, I wasn't intending to insult anyone and nor was I "playing the man" FFS.
I don't even remember who said what but in my opinion, saying "Ange needs to go at the end of the season", or "he'll be gone by October" is stupid.

I'm not referring to the posters and idiots but what they said as idiotic, there's a difference.

But if people want to take personal offence at a glib comment of a football site, good fucking luck to them.

Hasn't he only had one straight red since he joined the club? Hardly Sergio Ramos territory.

Well, it takes one to know one, so I'm pretty sure I do. 😊
I think the point about ‘idiot’ v ‘idiotic opinion comment/opinion’ is key. (I am guilty of this thinking myself. When I remember or realise I beat myself up in the nearest dark alley I can find. Then do it all over again.😀… sorry, I digress…)

I wonder sometimes what he could do as a DM given our struggles there since Bissouma went off the boil. A lot of the best stuff that he does for us isn't actually in being the one making the last ditch tackles. It's in taking responsibility, stopping issues before they become one, and being able and willing to get on the ball higher up the pitch and look for the right pass. Would also get Dragusin in the side for extra muscle and height at set pieces.

He's never going to ghost past a man to break the lines that way, but he's also not going to get ghosted past himself.

I love Romero, but he wouldnt be able to play on the half turn, or cope with being pressed on the ball well enough in the six position.

Well maybe he could, but Id be surprised.

If we go back 3 now with Davies out that would allow him to roam forward more which he does so well

Breaking up the Romero/VDV CB partnership should only be done as a last resort with no other options available.

Not breaking them up if we go to a 3, it's just adding help for them. As good as they are we are still conceding too many because they are left too exposed.

Didn’t Romero play centre in a back three for Atalanta? And within that role he would be aggressive and move forward in the midfield? Maybe that’s an interesting option with Dragusin and VdV staying back? It would still leave us with a hole for LWB or whatever position that then would evolve in to.

Very reassuring that our best player and leader is so locked in with Ange/Spurs atm.

Could play for any club in the world that he wanted to.

I think he needs to be captain once Sonny leaves.
Needs to be before then really. I think Son will need to be rotated more if we can get better attacking options. So having a captain in and out of the team wont make sense.
