Think we need to pinch ourselves, we’ve seen so much dross in his position down the years

Dunno how he’d cope as a DM, he’s great at recycling the ball and playing through the lines but typically facing the play- receiving a firm pass from Vicario facing his own goal with a high presser climbing all over him?

“People say I am nasty? In reality, this is just my style of play. It’s the way I go about things and that’s it."

“But I have huge respect for every opponent I face weekly.

"Maybe during a game we have a go at each other, but that’s all forgotten once we leave the pitch. I don’t feel invincible. I am just someone who wants to improve every day and I respect every player and team in the world!”

Posting this in here as he seems our most popular Argentine at the moment. Is there a soft spot in Argentina for Spurs, considering the players we’ve had through the years?

It's mostly Man City, Chelsea and Inter Miami shirts I'm afraid. You see the odd Kane or Son shirt about, but I don't think I've ever seen a Cuti one. Hopefully this will change when Messi retires, FFP relegates the other two and Cuti and Co win the quadruple.

He clattered Lallana a few times as well, which is always a plus. I still remember that nasty little prick putting a really out-of-order challenge in on one of our academy lads a few years ago in an U21 match.

Grabbed the kid by the neck for no reason if I remember correctly.

Cuti was a beast today, played on the right side of the line, put in a few crunching tackles but was always in control. World class when he plays like this.

He’s so good, and when he keeps he’s head I honestly would not want anyone else. I think he legitimately frightens some players and the presence he offers is just unreal.
