If that's true then I just can't see him leaving before our window shuts.

If he does leave it'll be at the end of the month and we'll be screwed cos there's no way Levy will sign 2 replacements before he's found a definite buyer.

Do you really think Levy would let him go when we don't have people on board to replace him?

Levy is many things but bang up for completely screwing this team up he is not.

I hope.

If he doesn't want to be here then he has to go - the only pre requisite is how much we can swell our transfer budget by

And, I have absolutely no intention to join the

I 100% agree with you: Eriksen is no Campbell.

If Eriksen leaves on a free, IMO hes a ****, I dont expect you to agree but I think its a shitty thing to do.

He might buy a direct replacement but IMO we really need 2 signings to push on and there's no way in hell Levy is spending £100M+ without some guaranteed return from an Eriksen sale.

One word. Escape. He wants to escape. Not escape Tottenham but escape the situation he is in and the situation was that he thought as they would come running for him. Meanwhile where he could have showed his inner strength he hasnt. He has had every opportunity.

Fairly similar to how he responds when he needs to show resilience on the pitch....

What happened in this, I cant see as I am in work?

As the Spurs team were walking (to the stadium in Hong Kong), one of the fans on the side who's wearing a Man U jersey high fived Eriksen ... and Eriksen said to him, "Man U, man, wrong shirt."

Could possibly be forcing the move out on the cheap to get a much bigger signing bonus?

I really think that he believes the project seems to have stabalized/reached its conclusion, he believes he won't win anything with us, and has seen how hard Levy makes it for players that want to leave with ridiculous transfer prices.
He won't sign another contract, don't think this is about money at all (if it was about money would have signed a 200k p/w contract with us a couple of years ago)

I'm afraid this is a pretty immature view in this day and age.

Eriksen has by word and deed given the Club every opportunity to find a buyer so he doesn't "leave on a free". He's always said he has a career path. he's given brilliant service to Spurs and is one of the major reasons we are where we are. This is simply indisputable.

But if he wants to leave - a possibility he's always held out - then that's his right. You seem to want him to sign a contract simply so he doesn't "leave on a free". But we know from the Zaha situation - and the ridiculously inflated prices now (see Maguire/Ake) that if he were to sign a contract it could mean he's priced out of ever leaving.

So why on earth would he do that? If he signs it means he's basically with us for the rest of his career. I want that. But it's not up to me. Or you. Is it?

So how on earth is anything Eriksen has said or done so far "shitty"?

They are professional football players which aspirations and career paths. It's not slavery mate. Ffs

Edit: I want him to stay. But if he wants to go I don't begrudge him that at all and its up to the club to find a way. Slagging him off is just poor form. And a little embarrassing.

If he leaves on a free to a PL club, I´ll agree with you 100%.

If leaving on a free is the only way for him to play for RM/Barca I can understand his pov - following his dream. We paid 11M for him (or thereabouts), and he´s been on sub par wages compared to anyone of his stature in the PL - it´s not like he´s cost us a fortune. If he behaves professionally like Toby and plays well for us, I don´t really think I´ll hate him for it, though. I won´t like it! But I can understand it.

As I fully understand your standpoint too. I´m just a little less black or white about it.

Jesus don't use the fucking slavery line... and you call me immature.

IMO ANY player refusing contract after contract, even alledgidly verbally agreeing to a contract, is being a shite, again its my opinion I dont particualry care if you agree. But comparing a massively paid player, living in a lap of luxury and comparing it to slavery.... have a word with yourself.
