For me, I’d be looking at Sissoko/Gedson, or I’m still not sure that having Lamela/Moura/Bale for the RWF slot isn’t overkill.

Gedson should count as U21 in the PL, and does not need to be included in the 25-man PL squad. He would take up a squad place in the EL though, but it would not be the end of the world if we would leave him out of the EL squad.

what people need to understand about this guy is that he came through youth ranks as a defender and only got pushed to play upfront in 2017. So his goalscoring record is very good in comparison to the number of years hes actually been a forward

I wouldn't rule out a loan with obligation to buy at 30/40m.

Even though they sold Luiz and Dias, Benfica still need a bit more cash and they are essentially down to selling either CV or Seferovic.

Seferovic will prob only go for about 10m and Vinicius isn't in Jesus immediate plans yet will fetch much much more money.

If Benfica are in a desperate situation they may feel a loan with obligation is their best way to have guaranteed funds come in, even if it's next year. And we get to put that spend onto next summer's.
