What don't you like about this? I appreciate that we'd prefer DAKA or the Celtic lad, but this guys a good finisher. All his goals from last season, Bottom corner, bottom corner, bottom corner. One goalie error. I always ask myself would a prem goalkeeper save that? With the majority of these the answer is no. I see good positioning, a reasonable turn of pace, some flashes of strength and low accurate finishing.

Shocking nicking mbappes celebration, but I'll take it.

Im struggling to see any positives in this bar getting another body in that can play up front.
Hes hardly going to be cheap
Has no experience of playing for a big club or in a big league, isnt a proven winner.
Has only had 1 decent season at the age of 25. Doesnt seem to excel at anything.
Stinks of a really high risk gamle and certainly wouldnt be my choice.
ITK had really got my hopes up that it would be a younger player with a higher ceiling.
Only boxes i can see that he ticks are plays up front, probably not on a big wage, prepared to sit on the bench, wants to join and is a mendes client.

Carlos Vinicius doesn't have ANY similarities to Gedson, and I don't see how Edouard and Daka would be perfect but he's not.

Watch? Half of us just bash the name into the latest incarnation of Football Manager and look up his numbers, the others watch 30 seconds worth of Youtube. Personally I couldn't give a fuck either way until we actually sign him and he becomes FFSworthy.

Lloris, Rose, Vertonghen, Walker, Dier, Dele and Eriksen were all signed from lesser leagues and made up most of our best first team in decades.

His youtube looked alright though, nothing earth shattering or as exciting as Daka but apparently our manager and scouting team have plumped for this option so that probably just about edges my youtube reel review.

More to the point it's no good saying Daka would be better when the guy doesn't want to move.

If we could manage to get a loan + option like with Gedson, that'd be fucking brilliant. Not sure what the rules are on loans from same club.

Bale comes in I'll shut up but we do need to do something. I know we don't have their cash but look at Chelsea. If I was Kane and spurs put in another 5th or 6th finish I would go. He deserves better.

Vinícius is 6’3”, and seems to have the raw attributes to succeed in the PL. I certainly wouldn’t be writing him off as a dud as some are in here.

Over the last week I’ve realised how blinkered I am to football outside of the premier league, unlike many on here, particularly when it comes to forwards!

If Vinícius is the ‘under the radar’ signing José wants then I’m all for it, his track record tends to indicate he knows a decent player when he sees one ?
