This is one I feel Paratici got wrong. He’s had a lot more hits than misses so I’ll allow him this one.
I think we should just stay away from La Liga, or just be quite careful in the future.

Lenglet, Reguilion, Gil, Dos Santos, Fazio, Soldado etc.

We haven't bought a player that made his name in La Liga that has turned out great.

Van der Vaart was dominating bundesliga before we got him from Real and Toby we saw could do it in PL with Saints before getting him from Atletico.

Players like Emerson and Lo Celso have been alright, without being great for the money invested.

That's just scouting though. City have had their share of talent from La Liga. Aside from failed attempts to sign Torres (did great at Liverpool ) and Aguerooo our scouting there has not worked out so well. Not sure we had great success in Serie A until more recently. Also Ligue One was not great until Sarr.

I presume there was a hope/expectation that the skinny 20-year old we signed would develop physically, but I think it's clear now that that's just his natural build.

Thin lines innit.

Whilst I don't think he'll make it with us, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if he peaks to a higher level later on in his career like some players do...

If he didn’t come on yesterday when Werner looked out on his feet he was never gonna come on. Bet Sevilla on the blower for their annual loan

Article about Lazio's intrest in Jack Clark.

Lazio, the other names on the list

Gil from Tottenham is always on the list , unless he leaves. He has requests in the Premier League , he can move at any moment. He dreams of a last minute call. Sarri likes him , but the goal score slows down his arrival.

Boo. I don't know why, i just really like him and have an irrational desperation for him to succeed with us even though i can 100% see that he hasn't shown enough to warrant much game time.

Some sort of sell on clause a must you'd hope !

Not another loan please
Isn't a loan to a club like Brighton perfect? I get where you are coming from and understand if some people have given up on him, but we don't actually know if he could do it in the PL.

If he goes there and actually gets to play, we'll know once and for all if he has it in him to adapt to the PL.

As long as he actually gets regular game time. That’s the key point. If he goes there to be a back up/rotation option then ether a straight sale or obligation would be ideal. Personally I’d like to see him get a pl loan where he is a week in week out starter but failing that a sale should be the stipulation if he leaves.

Loan to Brighton would be ideal. Surprised Brentford don't go in for him instead of Nusa.

Maybe because he has shown little to no sign he will actually make it in the Premier League and he does not look like an investment that doubles or trebles its value.
