Correct me if i am wrong. The season before last we have a sky blue kit similar to this season's away kit. We have not won a single game wearing that colour.
Hope we stop using this 'unlucky' kit for good.

At Newcastle in the CC.

But yeah, we generally play shit in it for some reason. Can't remember a good performance in it.

I stand corrected.
But I agree, we play poorly when in that colour.

think the lack of wins is down to the players rather than the kit
i actually like both away kits this season regardless of the lack of wins wearing them

I do like the Sky Blue kit, it looks cool - but its hardly been the luckiest colour weve ever worn. The blue Kappa shirt must of been the worst in our history for poor results -

we've only won 3 premiership games away, and they've all been in either black or white. i really hate our sky blue kits, they look ugly and remind me of man city and are obviously crap luck. i like our black kits more, too bad they aren't selling them anymore.

I don't think that shirt ever recovered after the Grimsby game...

Our away form has generally been crap for years, so I guess it stands to reason we will lose a lot of games in change colours regardless!

never liked the light blue kit, a navy blue is so much nicer!

I think I can explain the reason for why we did so badly in that kit ...

....

I bought it!

But on a serious note, I hate the Sky Blue shirt. We should always, always, always go navy blue like the anniversary shirt (my favourite shirt ever).

It's simple psychology. Light blue has a calming effect on people (this is true, what I'm about to say is probably bullshit but it's a nice theory), the opponents will feel 'calmer' when they play us if they see us in that shirt, and tend to play better as they won't see us as a threat. At the same time our guys wearing it will be 'calmer' in the sense of potentially less aggressive, no wonder Palacios had his worst game for us against Sunderland!

yeah, light blue is crap.. I had a dark blue/black away Kappa kit that i still wear, which is cool, but dunno if we ever won it... I also liked the purple Kappa away kit we had, I know we at least won once in that, away to Coventry.

We should have a purple jersey next year. Haven't had one in a while

the turquoise kit from 06/07 was a horror show. we finished 5th despite not winning in that kit all year - real shocker.
