Agree. But isn't it a sad state of affairs when the players have to tell us to get behind them? We've often heard the expression of 'being the 12th man' by cheering them on, yet, we never do it. I was sitting there hoping someone would get a chant going, but they were few and far between. The problem isn’t standing. It’s all standing where I am at Wembley and there’s still a load of ****s. The problem is fans are spoilt. If we’re not scoring goals we’re shit. Sing when we’re winning. And only if the opposition are what we deem to be worthy. Let’s just face it. This country doesn’t have the mentality to create good atmospheres anymore. There’s no hardship and desire or triumph. The closest one club came to it were Palace by acting all Italian and they fucked that up. Ticket prices have forced out the hunger. We’ve paid a shitload, make us happy or else we’ll sulk. Thank fuck for Lucas Moura today having a go at geeing up the crowd. Best 10 seconds of atmosphere all day.
