PUB it is for me then, 30 000 members have applied for 5 000 tickets left after season tickets holders and executive members took their allocation

Quote:
The window for One Hotspur Platinum, Gold and Silver Members to claim their Carling Cup Final ticket closed at 5.30pm yesterday (Monday February 4).
One Hotspur Bronze and Lilywhite Members have until 5.30 pm today (Tuesday February 5) to apply for any remaining Carling Cup Final tickets that may become available. To date, over 30,000 One Hotspur Bronze and Lilywhite Members have applied for tickets.

The Club can confirm that there has been just short of a 100% take up from One Hotspur Platinum, Gold and Silver Members and a very similar take up from its Annual Executive Members and Executive Box Holders for Carling Cup Final tickets.

Unfortunately, this means that very few Carling Cup Final tickets will be available to One Hotspur Bronze and Lilywhite Members and the loyalty point threshold will be very high. We do appreciate that this means that many fans will be disappointed but demand for our 31,018 tickets has been higher than ever before.

In order to ensure that the Club is able to offer as many tickets as possible to One Hotspur Bronze and Lilywhite Members, applications will not be processed until early next week when we expect to be in full possession of any unsold tickets for the match at Wembley Stadium.

Finally, the Club is aware that one or two websites are now beginning to advertise 'Tottenham Hotspur end' tickets for the Carling Cup Final at vastly inflated prices. Please be assured that we will investigate all such advertisements and wherever possible we will take action.

All One Hotspur Members are reminded that they risk losing their Carling Cup Final ticket (without refund), their One Hotspur season ticket and membership (without refund), and also risk receiving an indefinite ban from the Club if a Carling Cup Final ticket allocated to them is offered for re-sale.

Further details of any tickets available to One Hotspur Bronze and Lilywhite members, together with the loyalty point requirement, will be posted on the Club’s website as soon as they are available.

How would they know? Pure conjecture, surely?

yes pure conjecture but only top 17% of those members who applied will be successful, I guess everyone will know the cut off next week.
