For the same reason they've rejected previous Juve offers, I can't imagine a scenario where Roma would agree to a loan w/o obligation to buy. Like most Serie A clubs, Roma's finances aren't great and it looks like they need money to improve their team.

Plus, I think Jose likes Zaniolo. All season, Jose's been defending Zaniolo from the media anytime he does something stupid. Anytime I see them on TV, they seem to be laughing & joking w/each other.

Plus Zaniolo was given the captain armband in one of the friendlies this summer. The rumor mill in Italy is that Zaniolo was convinced by Mourinho to stay and is looking to extend his contract.

Fuck the YT clips of what he is doing at Roma. We are all fully aware of how Jose sets up and plays, wouldn't expect to see anything other than his teams counter attacking.

Everything needs to be assessed within the correct context! That's why I'll never take the opinions of those watching YT clips and quoting transfermarkt stats as anything other than not really knowing much about the player at all.

We literally had a surgeon on here yesterday who made the point that one tear and a recovery is not a risk and a bigger worry would be the same ACL torn twice.
