Maybe he was scouting them for us as we play them again this season.Allegri please. Is it coincidence he was at the Bayern game? Invited maybe???

I think Rafa Benitez - even if just for a short period - might be a good shout.
FFS..is this thread still fucking open...?
The thing is poch at the moment seems to be neither more attacking or defensive than those guys, its just a mess and best to be described as mehI’m still backing Pochettino but after seeing that negative rubbish in the first half with a back 5 at home to Watford, how can anyone want to replace him with a more defensive manager like Mourinho or Allegri?
Surely our motivation has to be football that is exciting.
I can’t imagine the football under Allegri or Jose to be that inspiring (although obviously better than what has been served up in 2019). I would go for Rogers because I think he could bring on younger players and build a project. I’d be delighted if he brought Ndidi, Maddison and Chilwell with him too. Don’t see him leaving Leicester for the $h1t show that is us at the moment as he has a good thing going there.
It's because he's English.Yeah the disrespect he is getting is harsh. He has done a great job at Bournemouth. I don't know whether he is the right man for the job, but he has certainly earn't the right to be on the shortlist. As a fan base we tend to be above our station at times when it comes to professionals in the game.

This is a good point, Bringing in a new manager means he needs to reinvigorate the players and get them functioning as a team again. But the project has come to the end of its cycle and all that's left is a load of broken parts not fit for purpose. Howe would be mad to come in here whilst the deadwood remains. He would be on a hiding to nothing.
Maybe but I think many see the job at Bournemouth is very different to a top 6 side. It's because he's English.
If his name was Howelinhio it would be a different story.
There are as many Managers that have gone on to do well though, Klopp coming from Mainz to Dortmund for example.Maybe but I think many see the job at Bournemouth is very different to a top 6 side.
Many managers have done very good jobs at small clubs but struggled at big ones. They require a different skilset.
I would like us to consider Howe but if his attributes are right for a top 6 side I have no idea.
Of course, my point is you need to look at what attributes are required to be a success at our club and who possesses those attributes. There are as many Managers that have gone on to do well though, I look coming from Mainz to Dortmund for example.
Agree, I'm not sure about the tactical adaptability though. The best managers seem to have a philosophy and stick to it rigidly.Of course, my point is you need to look at what attributes are required to be a success at our club and who possesses those attributes.
I think we need a manager who is good with young players, is good at diplomacy with the board and is adaptable with his tactics.
So I believe Howe would be a good fit for us though I am by no means a particularly good judge for incoming managers.
It's whether we could get him though. My son mentioned Julian Nagelsmann today. Reckons he'd be a good fit.
I would even contemplate putting Julian Clary in charge certainly frighten a few.My son mentioned Julian Nagelsmann today. Reckons he'd be a good fit.
