Sad.Posted on SSC by someone on a stadium tour yesterday.
In the bottom picture, what are those huge black holes/pits just behind the lowest tier?
That's the gap between the original stand and the temp Seating that is covering the running track. I assume they slide back to or into the main stand when in athletics mode. The 'black' isn't a hole or void, just the back facade of the temp seats otherwise you would see all the gubnings so - the angle makes it look like a hole. Might still be in their plans to cover the gap with a walkway of temporary boards (metal?)
Can we stop fucking talking about West Ham's stadium here? There's a thread already about it below.
It is a big hole, the permanent (wasted) seats are visible below from other angles. The black is the dressing around the temporary stand so it's not immediately apparent is effectively built out of scaffolding!I have no bloody idea how you know that, but thank you, Sam . One thing, though. You say: " The 'black' isn't a hole or void, just the back facade of the temp seats otherwise you would see all the gubnings so - the angle makes it look like a hole. ".
But if it isn't holes or voids, why are there multiple little metal bridges all the way round the things that aren't holes or pits?

Camera 2 on OS now showing the 4 buildings to be moved/demolished

No, but they'll probably try and include it in their official capacity. Will they sell the hidden seats as restricted view....

Yes,that's right. Those documents are the basis and reports which discharged our responsibility and so permission has been been granted to demolish. We now just have to take out, store, certain items before wrecking ball can commence.
Warmington House needs some protection measures put in place first as detailed here:

Yes but the fact that Camera 2 is now focussed on those buildings suggests that their end is close, and DL wants it on camera.

The monitoring equipment might already be in place.
Warmington House is the one building that is going to be retained and not demolished, so I am interpreting this to mean that the monitors are being placed in Warmington House to ensure that it is not damaged in the course of the nearby demolition and construction - and to catch any damage early if any occurs.
