Would they actually do it mid PL season seems a bit messy. Surely they’d be lots of PR stuff done for 19/20 with Tottenham Hotspur stadium or “ Visa stadium “ I’d be surprised if they did it mid season.

The point that dov is making is that the "ready for the NFL games" thing is about the train station and nothing to do with stadium naming rights. Look at the graphic he posted.

I agree, I'd have thought between the start of our financial year and the first league game, so 1st of July to 8th August would be best for both parties.

The Club have won the Planning Appeal for the Goods Yard Development.

https://www.goodsyardtottenham.co.uk/

Spurs 1 Haringey 0 AET.

https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/ViewCase.aspx?caseid=3204591

Sorry old fruit does that mean crack on macduff as far as Spurs are concerned or can Haringey still block it?

If the former is there an E.T.A from spades in the ground to completion or does the club still need to put the job out for tender?

From how I view things, logistically it makes more sense to complete the "hotel and sports" bit first as the goods yard site means materials can be stored nearby and then complete goods yard build "on the way out" so to speak as the final part of the build.

Then again common sense and construction don't always go hand in hand do they.

Do we know if there are any other construction projects earmarked down the way by the club or would completion of these mean all the properties/land the club purchased have been accounted for?

I'm also a bit surprised the demolition and coach park/health centre building hasn't happened yet.

An appeal decision by the Planning Inspector is final, insofar as the merits of the proposed development are concerned.

If opponents of the scheme think the decision has been taken improperly, i.e., procedural irregularities or lack of proper consultation, they have 6 (or is it 8?) weeks to mount a Judicial Review. Sometimes objectors try on a JR as a nuisance/delaying tactic, but unless they have a genuine procedural basis for it, they usually lose and get costs awarded against them as well, so it's not something to be done lightly.

If there is a JR, any arguments or evidence about the merits of the scheme itself would be excluded. Only the process can be reexamined.

Can someone orientate my derrière here, in the vid below, did/does it belong to Spurs (or a company within) and where is/was it in relation to Goods Yard/Tottenham High road? Would they have just leased a plot of land for the Stadium build?

Does THFC own that bit of land? That is a substantial piece of ground.
