Wolves are one of the options Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matheus Nunes could choose for a transfer before the deadline.

The West Midlands club have been in talks to sign him for the duration of the transfer window.

According to Sky Germany, Sporting Lisbon would accept an offer in the region of £30m plus a sell-on percentage.

He is represented by Jorge Mendes – a close associate of Wolves and someone who has a number of players at the club.

West Ham boss David Moyes confirmed today that they bid for him but “the boy chose not to come” – so they moved on.
