The delusion of these wasters is staggering.

They whine anonymously to the press when the last 4 managers don't play them, then phone it in against Mura and Morecambe.

Keep 3 or 4.

Bin the rest of these idiots and cowards as soon as we possibly can.

Whoever thought replacing Vinicius, Bale and Lamela with only Gil was a great idea is the man of the match for me.

p.s. not a dig at gil who looks a good talent.

Sess was good first half but struggled in the second. I don’t think the switch to the right did him any favours.

Tanganga was poor again - that marking for the goal was embarrassing!

Dele & Tanguy - shocking! Goodbye and good riddance.

Same old story as soon as you take out Kane, Moura, Skipp, Son etc. the second string just isn’t up to it (both physically and mentally).

Winks MoM. Looks in control out there.

I'm surprised by Tanguy, you'd have thought he'd be putting himself in tne window. He looks gone sadly.

I thought Winks did the best he could to hold the midfield.

I really think there is something there for Sessegnon - I know he was less noticeable in the 2nd half. But lots of energy, and seemed to understand his role, even as an inverted WB. He is one to watch for the rest of this season and next imo.

Bryan - he moves/thinks at a speed unfamiliar to the 2nd team for Spurs. I hope he gets some minutes in Son's absence to play with some better attacking players.

Doherty - I hate to say this, particularly given the level of competition, but Doherty was not terrible today. And, to give credit - he showed a lot of hustle even in the LWB role.

Davies - ok, need more when he is the leader of the defense, but ok today.

Tanganga - needs a loan, and a run of games to find his true level.

Rodon - probably needs a sale, more than a loan. Its not going to happen for him here, particularly when we bring in a couple of new CBs. He is not at the required level.

Gollini - Not much to do today, but a bit indecisive. We have Conte's preferred GK coach - they can make a call at the end of the season, I won't be fussed either way.

Lo Celso - always seems like he should do better than he does. Don't know if it was fitness levels, or playing with the b-team, but he did not earn any additional PL minutes from me today.

Dele - its not that his performance was bad today, its just indifferent. The lack of consistency, despite being given multiple chances is frustrating. He needs a move. Change of scenery might help him re-discover his love of the game.

Ndombele - I've said too much already.

Subs - they all made a difference - Kane, Lucas, Skippy, even Emerson. We would not have won without them. Which says everything you need to know about the starting XI.

Winks probably most deserving over the 90. I thought Sess, Davies, GLC and Gil did alright. The subs changed the game. Midfield had a better balance with Skipp on and wasteman off and Lucas' and Kane's quality won us the game.

The rest of the starters apart from NDombele were a bit meh but thats what happens when you aren't playing regularly. NDombele is an absolute disgrace to his profession.

Well….

Gollini - 4 - can’t save anything, and also very shaky when coming out as a sweeper keeper.

Tanganga - 2 - dreadful defending for the goal, looks lost lately and needs to be moved on.

Rodon - 6 - comfortable all game really. Embarrassing that Tanganga is seemingly ahead of him.

Davies - 5 - looked more shaky than normal but perhaps because of players around him.

Doherty - 6 - didn’t do anything wrong, but nothing particularly right either.

Sess - 7 - one of our better players on the day. Worked hard and was always available for the ball.

Winks - 6 - first half struggled but perhaps because of having to work as a 2 by himself.

Ndombele - 1 - dreadful performance. Slow on the ball, slow off it and even slower walking off the pitch. The guy is totally abject and has to go ASAP.

GLC - 6 - worked really hard and not a lot come off. Again like Winks he improved once he had better players round him.

Gil - 5 - works so hard but is really lightweight and new to this country. Deserves time though as he is just a kid.

Dele - 2 - just a very poor footballer. I see people giving him a bye because he was “being played out of position” but I genuinely don’t know what his position is anymore. Just a totally average footballer who can barely control a ball.

Subs -

Kane & Lucas - 8 - both are so far away ahead of a lot of the rest of our squad and both showed their quality.

Skipp - 7 - is light years ahead of where Ndombele will ever be. Has the talent aswell as the application.

Scarlett & Emerson - N/A - not enough time for either but Emerson did well for the third goal.

Generally an incredibly poor 70 mins which just shows exactly what we already know. We need wholesale changes to this squad. This will be further highlighted this week against Chelsea and Arsenal unfortunately, with Sonny out.

We definitely have some poor players
I wouldn't even call them poor. They legitimately don't give a flying fuck and that's a different thing entirely.

We might not be able to get rid of Ndombele because of the contract but we certainly can still sell Dele. Sell him to some other team so they can watch him play Fortnite and have his picture taken in the paper with Pep's daughter. That's all he really wants to do. He downed tools years ago.

Why the surprise?
- he just doesn't give a fcuk and gets paid whatever
What a waste- let younger more hungry players take his squad place from now on

The thing that I just don't understand about today is why change the system if Scarlett is fit to start on the bench? He should have started and the system stay with 1 up top. Gil and Alli are not strikers. I expected Alli to play better but he isn't someone that will hold the ball up, he makes runs.

NDombele can fcuk off now.

Winks 8
Lucas 8
Kane 7
GLC 7
Skipp 7

Everyone else should seriously consider what they contributed today.

I'm giving Conte a 5 and I think that's generous. Scarlett should have started and we should be using the formation he is favouring, no point in starting Alli and Gil as strikers. No idea what switching Sessegnon and Doherty did for the team. Alli showed against Liverpool he should play in midfield as he can do a job there. If this was Poch, Nuno or Jose they would have been ripped apart.

I’m puzzled by Conte today because of the reasons you’ve pointed out. Scarlett certainly wouldn’t have done any worse than Dele but would have helped our shape - and there won’t be many chances for Scarlett this season again this season. Dele had a good game against Liverpool in midfield, his best this season.
Switching the wingbacks? Why on earth? and why he allowed Ndombele back on the pitch for the second half, I really can’t explain that.
Conte is obviously slowly turning us around but he works in mysterious ways.

I'd pretty much agree with all of that apart from Rodon and Davies.
Thought Big Ben had a decent game but that Rodon looked pretty shaky and his passing was pretty terrible.

A blessing in disguise. Conte will be able to point to this performance to illustrate just how much investment and change in personnel is needed and just how much some of our players are phoning it in.
